« Great place to stay and set up to bring dogs with also. 2 bedrooms with 2 baths attached to bedrooms. Kitchen set up to be able to cook in easily though cottage close to town of Black Mountain that has great restaurants. Cottage also has washer and dryer which was helpful. Also has hot tub which we used one evening. Fenced in yard for dogs. Very comfortable up to house up to 4 people. »

« The Country Girl Cottage is a peaceful hideaway behind the owner's home, nestled in beautiful, well-tended gardens. The front porch on the cottage is peaceful and wonderful for taking in the view of the gardens, reading, enjoying your morning coffee or your evening wine. « History buffs will especially appreciate this house. The owners have come up with a good compromise between historical accuracy and modern livability. The kitchen is adequately furnished, and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels, and the bathroom and shower-tub are totally functional. Plenty of hot water, which can sometimes be an issue with older homes.There are multiple grocery stores a short driving distance from the place, and the downtown is very close. Easy access to the River...
