« This property is convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The kitchen was nice for our group to cook breakfast together. The house had lots of spaces to visit and plenty of seating both at the tables and in the common areas. Upstairs had no electrical outlets and smelled musty but we were able to work around the lack of electrical outlets and always travel with air freshener so it was okay. »

« Overall the place was nice. We didn’t get a chance to kayak, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The kitchen was well stocked and we made all our dinners there. The bathroom had some black mold on the ceiling, which was concerning. The directions could also have been more descriptive, we got there after dark and had trouble finding the place. »

« Perfect location close to shops, restaurants and the national park. Very clean and easy to access. Located above an amazing restaurant (colonel’s) which we frequented after long days of hiking/ exploring the park. On-site laundry was an added bonus. The kids loved the fresh pastries and the adults loved the coffee from colonel’s before long days at the NP. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thanks! »

« We absolutely loved the house! The location is beautiful of course, and far enough from the crowds at Bar Harbor for us to feel very relaxed. We loved the fire pit and the large deck with the views of Acadia. The decor, from the charming dishes to the vintage signs and antiques, to the many paintings, is quirky and fun and very welcoming. « This was my in-laws’ first trip to Maine and we wanted the experience to be as cozy and enjoyable as possible. This beautiful home was the perfect place for us to stay. « This cute little house was just the right size for my husband and me. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. However, the drawback of that is that it is at least a 30 minute drive to get to anywhere. Bar Harbor is an hour's drive (and we were not in peak season - it is probably longer if we had been). There were a few things to do closer, but you still had to drive as there are no shoulders on the road and consequently walking felt treacherous. This is not a criticism of the property - if...
