Relax or share meals together on the very large deck overlooking the lake with bistro table and chairs, two rocking chairs, and a propane Weber BBQ grill. In the evening enjoy some s'mores (starter kit provided) around the fire pit sitting in the Adirondack chairs. In the morning drink your coffee at the beach. Adults and kids alike will enjoy Cornhole and other yard games, the inflatable tubes, swim noodles, etc. These amenities and more make this vacation home a one of a kind property!
The City of Ellsworth is quaint and has an attractive downtown with plenty of cute shops and dining opportunities. Ellsworth is also the gateway to Mount Desert Island which is the home of Acadia National Park and the Town of Bar Harbor. The park entrance is 25 miles from Pebblenook Lodge and with summertime traffic it is about a 40 to 50 minute drive. To the north, you can explore Mt. Katahdin inside of Baxter State Park.
The hosts live in a separate log cabin on the 3.8 acre property. Timothy and Sharon often welcome their guests providing good suggestions and recommendations for your vacation. The host cabin is nearly a football field away from Pebblenook Lodge with plenty of tree screening between the cabins.
Graham Lake has recently been named #5 for top fishing lakes in Maine. Check it out at https://fishmasters.com/top-30-fishing-lakes-in-maine
Pebblenook Lodge promises to be a wonderful respite in which to relax and enjoy solitude away from the crowds of Bar Harbor.
At night you can often hear loons and sometimes owls! Oh, and you will be amazed at the stars on a clear night on Graham Lake. If you visit in the fall you might even catch the northern lights!
