Skytop Chateau offers breathtaking views from a wall of windows in the great room with woodburning fireplace. Everywhere you turn you will be able to enjoy the majesty of the mountains! The main house has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Two upstairs Queen bedrooms and the main level King master are all ensuites. Downstairs is a bar and game area with ping pong table, plus a bonus room containing 2 double beds and a pull-out sofa for additional guests, and a second woodburning fireplace. Experience the never-ending, long-range views from every window! Watch the skiers on the slopes from the kitchen window. Relax in the hot tub or on the selection of outdoor lounge furniture. If the weather turns rainy, enjoy some of the indoor board games!

Both properties are connected by a rustic sky bridge that adds to the mountain lifestyle unmistakable with this property. Chalet is a nicely updated cozy one-bedroom, one bath home, gas fireplace in the living room, sitting on a two-car oversized garage. The Chalet is the perfect couple's getaway for a quick ski trip. Please note that there is not air conditioning in the Chalet.

The Summit of Beech is located just minutes away from Beech Mountain Resort, a popular year-round destination for all sorts of outdoor fun. In winter, enjoy world-class skiing and snowboarding; and in warmer months have fun mountain biking down the bike trails!

Located just a short distance from the home is the Beech Mountain Club where guests can enjoy access to Private Restaurants, Championship Golf, Professional Tennis, and a heated pool to name just a few amenities. Guest passes must be requested and paid for in advance and limitations may apply. Additionally, the Buckeye Recreation Center and numerous trout fishing streams are located close by. Guests also enjoy quick access to historic downtown Banner Elk so you can even experience more activities including Horseback Riding, UTV tours, an Alpine Roller Coaster, White Water Rafting and Tubing Trips, Dining, Shopping, and so much more.

2026 STAY DATE NOTICE:
With an additional charge, guests staying at this home may choose to have a Beech Mountain Club membership transferred to their name through their 2026 reservation. Please inquire with our reservations team for more details.
2027 + BEYOND: The Beech Mountain Club will no longer allow membership transfers beginning January 1, 2027 and beyond. Only full membership holders will have access to the club after this point.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.

IMPORTANT NOTES
- If you want to stay and play on the slopes, during winter (November-April) you'll need to come prepared to handle heavy snow. You must bring 4WD or AWD vehicles to drive up to Beech Mountain, and chains may also be necessary during bad weather. The road leading to the home is paved, but the driveway is a 0.2 mile single lane gravel road that is shared by both the Chalet and Skytop Retreat.
- This property is pet friendly for a max of two (2) dogs, 50lb and under each. The pet rent is $25/nt per pet.
- Firewood for the outdoor fire pit may be purchased in advance from our office with a week (7 days) notice. Firewood is $25/day for 2 bundles of wood.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
