Welcome to The JEM Mine at Eagles Nest! This beautiful home was named after the most valuable jewels in the owner's family: their children whose initials are J, E, and M!

Perched in the Eagle Springs area of the neighborhood, midway up the mountain and just minutes from Banner Elk, this stunning home offers breathtaking mountain views, premium amenities, and direct access to the unparalleled outdoor lifestyle that makes Eagles Nest a premier destination year-round.

Step inside and discover soaring vaulted ceilings, a grand stone floor-to-ceiling gas log fireplace, and expansive windows that flood the open-concept living space with natural light. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream and comes complete with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, a large island for entertaining, and custom cabinetry throughout. Adjacent to the kitchen is a spacious dining area for 8 to enjoy a meal together, and the graciously appointed living room is just steps away, perfect for gathering with family and friends after a day of exploring the mountains.

Each of the five bedrooms is a private retreat, featuring plush bedding and luxurious linens and their own bathroom. The main-level master suite boasts a king bed, TV, deck access, and a walk-in shower, and in-floor heating. Upstairs you'll find two more plush suites, each with a Queen bed and an XL-length Twin bed, TV, and private bath. Downstairs is another King ensuite with a walk-in shower and soaking tub and a fifth bedroom with two sets of built in twin-over-twin bunk beds. Guests enjoying the bunk room have their own bathroom with shower just down the hall, too.

The JEM Mine at Eagles Nest has four bedrooms and one additional private sleeping space. Sleeping accommodations:
Main Level: King bedroom with private ensuite bath
Upper Level: Two bedrooms each with Queen bed, XL Twin bed, and private ensuite baths
Lower Level: King bedroom with private ensuite bath; private space with four twin beds and hallway bathroom.

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each
HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)
Please note that all visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays. This is strictly enforced.

Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals as prescribed by a medical professional may be permitted, and the presence of a service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $750 fee to reimburse the owner for wrongful use of their home as well as compensate for removing pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.

If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee

Additional Notes:
- This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home or requesting an exception to this rule.
- The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
- 4WD or AWD vehicles are recommended year round. The main roads are plowed in winter, but chains may be necessary to access this home in winter months. The driveway is steep with gravel for traction.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- The front and back doors have a Ring-style security camera. No cameras monitor the interior, hot tub, firepit, or decks.
- Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You'll receive two bundles of firewood for $25/night plus tax.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

The maximum occupancy for The JEM Mine is strictly capped at no more than twelve (12) persons total in your group, inclusive of children of any age. Violators will be fined a $100 per person, per day fine. Thank you for adhering to this limit and helping us keep our home in excellent shape for everyone to enjoy!

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
