Gather family and friends in the great room highlighted by an impressive stone fireplace or take in the breathtaking views from the huge deck overlooking the golf course and mountain range. The second living room on the lower level makes the perfect kid hangout with 65" tv and games for all ages. Beech Mountain and the surrounding area are home to ski resorts, golf courses, wineries, localfestivals and lots of crisp mountain air. Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and Boone are just short drives away. After a day of exploring the mountain, relax in the brand new hot tub under the stars. Beautiful mountain home convenient to many activities. We enjoyed the hot tub, hiking, the relatively nearby playground, sledding and cutting down a Christmas tree at a Christmas tree farm.

For the most part, everything was excellent.The downstairs did have a musty smell, but not too bad.Could not turn on the gas for the gas grill. 1st container was empty and we could not turn the valve open on the 2nd container.But everything else was very good, we much enjoyed our stay.

Beech Mountain Retreat

A group of us from Reynolda Church in Winston Salem enjoyed the cabin for a weekend. Sat outside on the deck overlooking the golf course watching the deer graze and check out the golfers. Enjoyed the hot tub, great food and fellowship. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds comfortable. The actual cabin seems smaller than depicted in the pictures and due to the wood walls the inside was very dark. Beautiful stone fireplace! Some minor repairs needed but all in all it served us well and we had a great weekend.

Family & Friends Spring Ski Trip

The cabin was an awesome home base for our two teens and a friend each. They skied every day - at Beech and Sugar. Host was very responsive - not that we had any issues - tho we asked for recommendations. House was clean and well appointed - lots of bathrooms - great set up for a big family or two!

incredible property, amazing vibes and tons of space to relax and recharge before getting back out and doing it again the next day on the slopes. endless deer spotted around dawn/dusk too, very fun

Great home for family ski trip!

We had a wonderful trip at this home after our current booking had to cancel on us last minute. Everything was as advertised, location was great, the hot tub was wonderful, and the house was very comfortable for us all. We will definitely be back to this property.

Close to Beech - spacious for big group

Great place! Close to Beech Mt and town. We found out the hot tub was broken 21 hours before check in which was a total bummer. The owner compensated us for this. Lots of space in the house for a group. The one room upstairs is a loft open to the main living room w 2 full beds not queens so the house sleeps 10 comfortably. The location is great for skiing. 5 min drive and is past the mt so not in the traffic coming from down the mt. Spacious living spaces and kitchen. Owner was very responsive to my communications. Big ski room downstairs a bonus as well as the den for a second hang out space.

Beech fun

The location is great for skiing and snowboarding. The recommendation for all wheel drive or chains isn’t a joke. Take them seriously. This is past the resort and the road treatment isn’t as efficient for the last mile. We loved being on the golf course because the deer like it too. There was a small hill for sledding right by the property. The hot tub did not work during our stay sadly. We missed out on that fun but enjoyed perfect winter weather. Management was very responsive. The house could use better lighting and a thorough deep clean to improve it.

Family Fall Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our weekend at Beech Mountain. The house was very nice, easy to get to and had more than enough room for the 7 of us. The area around Beech Mountain and Banner Elk was just loaded with things to do and see. We will definitely be back again.

Beautiful mountain home with a perfect, rustic feel inside.

This house had everything that we wanted. It was very spacious and had a great floor plan. There were only 4 of us but it would fit a large family perfectly.

Great family trip for long weekend

We had a great time and plenty of room for our large family of 13 which included my Uncle who is visiting from Germany for a few weeks. The host was amazing to work with and the house was perfect. The dogs loved the area and we saw at least 30-40 deer each day on walks or from the outside deck. Great property!

Great for Families & Kids

We had an amazing time staying here! We had 8 adults and 5 kids (4 of them toddlers), and the house and location was PERFECT for us! The kids had the golf course to run and play on, and when it snowed, we were able to sled using some of the sleds left at the property. The location is close to the slopes, a 3 minute drive, and the house is cozy and comfortable! We would most definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin stay

What a spectacular stay at Beech Mountain. We traveled last week of January 2024. We got 2 days of snow on-and-off. Pros of the cabin: -Very clean and undated unit -Kitchen is stocked with kitchen supplies -The hot tub is new, clean and working! -The 10+ deer outside who visit throughout the day -The golf trail behind the cabin allows for some walking/playing in the snow -The mud room is very convenient in the winter snow -Variety of board games available Some thing the host can work on -More cutting boards in kitchen -Providing tea kettle (had a Keurig) -Provide a dust pan -Have a handy vacuum upstairs -Have a few more towels out for larger parties -Restock creamer (current one is expired) Overall this cabin was great. I did compare with other cabins around Beech Mountain and this cabin isn't on a steep slope so you can get outside and play in the snow, walk, etc.

Amazing property

The perfect getaway for our friends reunion! The details in the home are impeccable. We were so happy with everything, especially the wildlife we saw while hot tubbing. Many deer and even some turkeys came wandering by- made our weekend :)

Weekend in the mountains

We enjoyed our weekend getaway at Chalet Biche. The home was fantastic! Tons of rooms/space for our group of 7 adults. The cabin was beautiful inside and out and it had everything we needed for the perfect weekend get away. We enjoyed the beautiful surrounding fall foliage as well as the deer sightings. The neighborhood was peaceful and the home was a short drive to downtown Banner Elk. The host were wonderful as well! We highly recommend staying at this property!

This home was amazing, def will go back for longer period of time. Exactly like the listing states. Absolutely beautiful and great location. Great place to get out and do things or just kick back and relax. Host was great to work with. Will be back.
