The School House Escape

Nestled among rolling hills, olive groves, and sun-drenched orchards, The School House ethos was modeled on the enviable Tuscan way of life — where the seasons set the pace, and the table is always the heart of it all.

Autumn and winter are when it really sings. Fires crackling, something slow-cooked on the stove, a bottle opened early because why not. The days are shorter but somehow fuller — long lunches that drift into the afternoon.

The home wraps around a central open-air pergola, perfectly suited to alfresco entertaining. Designed with food lovers at heart, the chef's kitchen is equipped with everything needed to cook with ambition and ease — complemented by an outdoor cooking area featuring a Gozney pizza oven and South American BBQ, made for evenings under the stars.

The original classroom has been transformed into a grand living and dining area, with soaring 14-foot ceilings that fill the space with warmth and character. A floor-to-ceiling glass hallway connects this historic room to the old teacher's residence, creating a home that is as generous in spirit as it is in scale.

The School House sleeps 6 guests across three large bedrooms with renovated bathrooms, each space thoughtfully considered for comfort and ease.


The bunkhouse, a charming separate retreat, sleeps 6 and is ideal for extra guests or younger travellers seeking their own adventure. Please note it does not have an ensuite — the nearest bathroom is located in the main house or by the outdoor entertaining area.
