The Utopia Suite is upstairs at the Carriage Inn, in the middle of Bandera, a short walk from Main Street and directly behind the 11th Street Cowboy Bar. It suits a quick stay in town: park, walk to dinner and music, and sleep well. The Medina River and the city park are close by too.



The suite has a queen bedroom, a sleeper sofa in the second room for a third guest, a kitchenette with a mini-fridge, a microwave and a coffee station, a small workspace, air conditioning and heat, Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Linens, a hair dryer and an ironing board are provided, and cowboy-era antiques give it the same character as the rest of the inn.



The backyard is shared with the inn's other guests, with a charcoal barbecue pit, a large outdoor fireplace, a fire pit, string lights and plenty of tables and chairs. Out front, the shaded porch has Adirondack chairs, a porch swing and a view of the old Wild West carriage the inn is named for. Covered parking for the inn rooms is first come, first served, with street parking nearby.



Early check-in may be available on request. Every stay includes the Texas Hill Country Travel App, a local guide for exploring the area.

Utopia is the suite we suggest for two people coming in for one night: a show at the Cowboy Bar, dinner on Main Street, a good bed and an easy morning. Everything you need is here, and nothing you have to look after.

Your suite is entirely private; only the backyard and fire pit are shared with other inn guests.

The primary renter must be 18 or older.

One small, well-behaved dog is welcome; any pet fee is shown when you book.

The Carriage Inn has five suites and a separate cottage, so a bigger group can book more than one, or the whole inn for up to 25.

Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 11 AM.
