About 10 minutes from the tourist town center, your own private spot in the beautiful pastoral scene overlooking the mountains.Super clean, really nicely appointed, wonderful host who made sure we always had continental breakfast amenities and clean towels, spotless! Hotel is in the Muckcross National Park , great location to visit Muckcross Abbey, Muckcross House and Torc waterfall by walking or biking ( as the hotel provide a complimentary bike for 2 hours per day ) . We rent a confortable apartment with bedding for five ( two king beds and one single bed) and a functional small kitchen. Their pub is Colgan: food was just OK. We didn't eat at their gourmet restaurant The Yew. Service is good but we didn't sollicitate much for our short 2 nights stay. In all, a good value for its location , service and roomy apartment.
