  • Orchard Cottage is perfectly positioned, within the grounds of a quintessential Cotswold Country House near Tetbury, overlooking the orchards and beyond. A charming Cotswold cottage, decorated to a high standard, the bedroom has a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom. The reception room has high beams and a round porthole window, stylish and comfortable. Badminton Horse Trials and Westonbirt Arboretum a stone's throw away. Bath nearby.

Elegant

The cottage is well equipped and elegantly furnished. The gardens are breathtaking. Being close to Tetbury makes it an antique lovers dream, and Westonbirt Arboretum is a paradise for nature lovers. The local pub is recommended too.

A lovely peaceful little cottage in stunning surroundings

The little cottage was beautifully clean with a comfy bed and quality furnishings. The kitchen is tiny but is well equipped and has all you need. We had amazing weather and really enjoyed sitting outside on the little patio enjoying the stunning views of the gardens to the main house and surrounding fields. There are also lovely walks you can do around the village. The only issue was the Internet was very slow and so we couldn't use the smart TV other than for normal channels. You also definitely need to use 'what 3 words' to find it as there is no name on the drive in or the cottage itself. The postcode just takes you to the village. Overall we loved it and would definitely stay again.

Weekend break in the Cotswolds

The cottage is set in the tranquil grounds of a large house. With lovely gardens and stables all around. It was perfect for our trip to Westonbirt Arboretum and surrounding villages. Very relaxing stay.

A lovely home base for a Cotswolds holiday

After needing to make an unexpected last minute accommodation change, we were delighted with our stay at Orchard Cottage! It is truly charming and in a lovely, rural setting. The cottage is adorable and just as pictured - an open sitting room/eating area with a cozy kitchen and a good sized bedroom and en suite bathroom: just the right intersection of modern and rustic and the perfect size for 2 people. It's a great choice for those of us with some mobility issues, as it's all on one level, which is lovely. The grounds (and sunsets) are beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the garden in the morning and evening to enjoy the coolness and watch the birds. (The two seats outside are a bit more rustic than practical, however.) The addition of fresh cream in the fridge was so thoughtful - thank you! And the owners have taken great care in creating a great book of information on the area including things to do, places to eat, etc. Perfect and helpful! It's a great area with great links, but we definitely found that having a car was necessary for this location. Overall, our stay was lovely and relaxing and we would stay again! Thank you!

Orchard Cottage was a very lovely place which was clean and had everything we needed. It was also comfortable and cozy. It had an excellent location for us to visit everything in the Cotswolds that we wanted to. It was also exceptionally quiet overall!

A beautiful countryside getaway

My partner and I booked a weekend getaway from the city, and our cottage was perfect in every way we could have hoped for. The location was ideal, and the interiors were both beautiful and exceptionally comfortable, reflecting the high quality of the property. While we did encounter a couple of small issues, the customer service team was friendly, attentive, and resolved everything quickly. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience, and we look forward to booking with Stay Cotswold again!

A comfortable home away from home

Very relaxing and comfortable little cottage with lovely views over the gardens. Great location. Home comforts, warm and cozy. Had the best nights sleep out of all of our UK stays. Robin the host was very obliging, and the property team of Rob and Charlie were a pleasure to chat with. They made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a lovely setting on the property.

Cosy cottage in quiet surroundings

Orchard cottage was lovely and had a very cosy homely feel to it. The area is very quiet perfect for getting away from city living. There are a number of areas nearby to visit within a half hour drive or less so plenty to do and see. The King's Arms is a lovely pub to go have a drink at or have some food and only a short walk away.

Perfect village retreat

This charming and clean cottage is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Easy access to walking paths and short drives to Cotswold villages and more walking. It was just what I needed to enjoy the gorgeous area and recharge. Highly recommend.

Fantastic little cottage.

Booked very last minute and very glad we did. Perfect little home away from home. Lovely and clean, light and airy and very comfortable bed. High quality furnishings throughout, although it would be good if the fold down table could be folded up! to give a bit more space. Everything else you could need for a short break and we hope to be back.

Charming and unusual

Pretty and secluded location. Added interested was provided by the nearby beautiful horses and related activity, we saw some shoeing. The accommodation was well designed, very clean and well equipped. Can strongly recommend.

EXCELLENT STAY

This is a superb location and wonderful accommodation with excellent facilities, especially the kitchen. We have visited several times and love to stay there. Just a couple of very minor things we noticed this time. They didn't detract from our enjoyment but perhaps they could be fixed. The water flow from the hot tap in the bathroom sink is very poor. The TV remote was not working (we tried new batteries) and this was quite inconvenient as we would have liked to watch something in the evening. A bulb on one of the bedside lights needs replacing ( there wasn't a spare to replace it)..

Long Weekend Break

Great location about 25 mins from Bath and some beautiful scenery. Plenty of National Trust places nearby. Only (minor) faults with the property were lack of an oven glove and no fan in bathroom meant some steaming up.

Lovely stay at Orchard Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchard Cottage. It was well equipped and perfectly located for our planned visits to Highgrove and Westonbirt Arboretum. Beautiful location and good weather meant we could enjoy breakfast on the patio. The jug of milk in the fridge on arrival was much appreciated, thank you. We ate at The Kings Arms one evening which is highly recommended and just a short stroll from Orchard Cottage. Overall, a super comfy stay and two great night's sleep!

Our second stay at Orchard Cottage.

Orchard Cottage was as clean, comfortable and warm as we remembered from our first stay. Both visits were a cold week in January. Although you are told there may be noise from the horses, they are very quiet and did not disturb us at all.

Excellent in every way.

Excellent base for our spring tour around Highgrove and subsequent walks around the beautiful surrounding countryside right from the front door. Really inviting from the moment we drove up the daffodil lined drive. The inside was tastefully decorated, neat and tidy with everything needed for a short break. Highly recommended.
