Large holiday flat Bad Lauterberg offers you enough variety for an active and relaxing holiday in the Harz Mountains. A music pavilion for summer concerts, the Kurhaus and the "Amadeus" concert and dance parlour are integrated into the spa gardens with their magnificent old trees and ponds. The neighbouring Haus des Gastes has a permanent exhibition entitled "Deer in the Harz Mountains" as well as craft rooms for creative activities under expert guidance. Interesting and historical insights into Bad Lauterberg's past can be found in the local history museum in Ritscherstraße, in the historic visitor mine "Aufrichtigkeit" in the spa gardens and in the South Harz Ironworks Museum. For water lovers, Bad Lauterberg offers the "Vitamar" adventure pool. The highlights of the pool are Indoor wave pool with swimming channel to the year-round heated outdoor pool, a 100 m long super slide, wide slide, wild water channel, a children's paradise for younger guests and a sauna area to relax in. If you prefer a more natural setting, why not visit the Oder reservoir or the Wiesenbeker Teich mountain lake. Great for pedal boating and a good place to swim in summer. There is also a thermal bath with various sauna options and massages in the immediate vicinity. There are tennis courts in this complex, in the Hotel Revita and in the spa gardens. In winter, cross-country skiers will find a network of over 40 km of machine-groomed cross-country ski trails. A chair lift gives you a view of the local mountain and the opportunity to stop off at a well-stocked restaurant. And what would a holiday resort be without a varied entertainment programme: Harz folklore, guided hikes, concerts, dance bar and discotheque are among the most popular offers and facilities. Bad Lauterberg is rightly known as the shopping town in the southern Harz, with its own shopping street with many half-timbered houses and a new shopping centre. The neighbouring restaurants and cafés offer a change of pace.

Our spacious holiday flat in idyllic Bad Lauterberg offers three separate rooms with a total of four beds over 90 m2. Bedroom 1 Double bed 1.80m x 2.00m. Bedroom 2
2 single beds each 1,00mx2,00m. The flat is located under the roof of an apartment complex on the quiet outskirts surrounded by natural forests in Bad Lauterberg. We offer two bedrooms, a large living room with dining area and a well-equipped fitted kitchen with coffee machine, guest toilet, a bathroom with bathtub and shower and a partially covered roof terrace (17 m2). The equipment includes a stereo system and a colour TV (flat screen, Magenta TV) and a CD/DVD player.
Of course there is a WLAN connection. The partially covered roof terrace (17 m2) invites you to sunbathe and relax.

A great speciality is the communal swimming pool on the ground floor of the house. The swimming pool is heated to a temperature of approx. 26-28°C. It can be used with bathing caps. Before using the pool, please note the occupancy times at the entrance door and sign in there if necessary. Please ensure a moderate volume when bathing! We are in a residential building.
The specified times of use must be strictly adhered to! There is also a small book exchange shelf and a table tennis table for shared use in the basement. Washing machine and tumble dryer (coin-operated machines are also in the basement).
In the main street in Bad Lauterberg there are various pubs and restaurants where you can stop for a bite to eat. Great shopping facilities with many shops invite you to shop. Bad Lauterberg is known as the shopping town in the southern Harz. Aldi, Lidl and Rewe are easily accessible in Bad Lauterberg. Swimming in Vitamar with its large slides is an experience. Swimming is possible outdoors and indoors. Sauna and steam baths also possible.
There are several play areas for children, teenagers and adults in the spa gardens. Please note the leisure offers for the Harz Mountains and the surrounding area in the Kurhaus.
The flat is located in the beautiful Harz Mountains, there is a lot to experience for young and old. From visiting old castles to bobsleighing on the Bocksberg/Hahnenklee, everything is possible in the Harz. The Harzkristall glass factory, the Königshütte in Bad Lauterberg and the unicorn cave in Scharzfeld. In Scharzfeld there is the castle theatre. The castle in Herzberg is also worth a visit, as is the cinema.
In the Harz Mountains you will find fun and excitement as well as relaxation and tranquillity.
Summer slide in Andreasberg. Take the cable car up the Wurmberg in Braunlage for a great view in good weather. Not far from Bad Lauterberg is Bad Sachsa with the Ravensberg and the Falkenhof with a variety of birds and flying demonstrations. A visit to the Salztalparadies or a pedalo ride on the small lake next to the spa gardens is great fun for the whole family. A visit to Bad Harzburg with its treetop walk and many shops is always worthwhile. Other excursions to Goslar, Werningerode, Quedlinburg, Göttingen and Duderstadt are definitely worthwhile.

General information:

Electric storage heater
The storage heater of this type of heating is "charged" during the night using night-time electricity (i.e. heat is stored in the core of the heater). The heating system is therefore switched on manually before your arrival when the outside temperature is appropriate. During the day, the stored heat is released into the room air via the surface of the stove and also via a fan system controlled by a room thermostat.
The night-time charging level can be set from "* " (no charging) via position 1 and 2 to 3 (maximum charging) using a setting wheel on the right-hand side of the stove itself. At outside temperatures around zero degrees and higher, position 1 is recommended (when the home is fully heated).
The room thermostat should be set to 20℃ throughout the day. This allows you to achieve an average room temperature of 22°C at an outside temperature of 0°C. The charging height of the heater is set to approx. 11/2. Individual settings upwards or downwards are of course possible. A slight lowering of the room thermostat is recommended for the night. Under no circumstances should you set the room thermostat to e.g. 30 C for a longer period of time (you are absent) in order to achieve faster heating of the home. This setting would result in the flat becoming
warm during your absence, but the heat requirement can no longer be met in the evening because there is no more stored heat available in the stove. Charging is only possible again the following night.

Waste disposal / flat key
The house key or flat key is suitable for all house entrance doors. With regard to rubbish disposal, please pay attention to the notices in the building.
When leaving the flat, please do not leave the spare key inside, as otherwise it will not be possible to open the flat door with the key from outside.
Swimming pool
Please only use the swimming pool at the specified times.
In order to protect the sensitive swimming pool equipment, use of the pool is only permitted with a bathing cap.
