The Tree House offers expansive ocean views from almost every room - perfect for a romantic getaway, fun with friends, multi-family gatherings, and big and little children alike. Thoughtfully refreshed in 2021, this cozy island treasure features all-new paint, decor, and appliances. The redesign creates a clean and fresh feel while maintaining the home's historic charm.

Situated on a private cul-de-sac with easy beach access - put on your suit, grab a towel, and you'll be on the beach in minutes. Pick up your favorite carry-out meal from a variety of excellent local restaurants or cook your fresh catch on the gas range. The kitchen is well-equipped with all a chef's needs including extras like a toaster oven and a large griddle for pancakes.
Enjoy views of the sunset over the sound from the wrap-around porch while sharing your meal with friends or family. The covered area under the home contains a fish cleaning station, two newly built outdoor showers, and a separate hose for cleaning off the day's fun. There is also plenty of room for kids to play on rainy days in the shaded, sandy area under the home. Spend your evenings watching shows on the 42” smart TV. The high-speed internet allows multiple people to stream at the same time. Peruse a collection of puzzles, games, and books for all ages in the entertainment center.

The Avon Pier is located just over a mile north and is a great destination for morning walks. The convenient sound-side access at Haulover, just 1.5 miles south offers a completely different water experience with shallow, calm waters ideal for small kids and adventures like kitesurfing. The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is 10 minutes south and the oscillating light can even be seen from the south side deck.

THINGS TO KNOW
●Pool Option 1: The homeowners of this property have provided complimentary access to the Kinnakeet Shores Olympic-sized pool, kiddie pool, tennis, and pickleball courts. Access to these amenities is available during the peak rental season. Address: 41184 Kinnakeet Blvd, Avon, NC. A second option is the community Club Hatteras pool at 41156 NC Hwy 12 Avon.

● Walk just ½ mile north to local restaurants and the Food Lion grocery store.
● Take a 1.5 mile walk north along the beach to the Avon Fishing Pier where you can
enjoy a different view of the rolling waves and see fishermen reel in their dinner. Grab
some coffee and a homemade breakfast or lunch from the food trucks located at the
pier in the summer months.
● Sound access is just 6 miles south on Rt.12 to Haulover Beach, also known as Canadian
Hole. This is a perfect location to enjoy calm relaxing waters. Small children can play
in this pool-like water (approximately 2' deep) while parents enjoy floating on rafts
and the views of kite surfers whirling in the wind. Take your camera for spectacular
sunset views!
● If you have 4WD, take some air out of your tires and drive out on the beaches off Billy
Mitchell Rd in Frisco. There you will find calmer waves for smaller kids to enjoy.
●Towels and sheets are provided (all beds are made and ready for your arrival). Note: single bed sheets (for the upper bunks and daybed) are provided but the beds are not made.
