The was a quaint (267 sq ft) unit within a block of the beach. It was quiet, comfortable, and the fire pit was nice in the cool mornings and evenings.
I booked through Expedia, not VRBO, and had disconnects with the host. I attempted to cancel my reservation on two occasions outside of the 2-week, non-refundable period listed on Expedia (and my receipt). Both requests were met with resistance so I stayed the course and kept my reservation.
Fortunately, I read a review indicating that parking is around the corner behind the unit. When I offered up feedback about this confusing matter, the host defensively stated that it was in the online Guide Book which, contrary to his statement, I did not receive beforehand.
Traveling for a celebration, I had nicer clothes. I was disappointed that there was no iron or clothes hangars in the unit. (there were 3 coat hooks). When I shared this feedback with the host, he explained that the iron was in the laundry room and again referenced the guide book which has no mention of a laundry room. After several communications, I was directed up a ramp to a non-discriminate door (between lived-in units) where I found a grungy laundry room. By then, I had borrowed an iron from someone and ironed my shirt and slacks on the bed.
It also took some trial and error with the firepit and door lock. Instructions for using both would have been nice.
With a few small extras and better communication, this could have been so much nicer.
