With wide views across Onetangi Bay and just seconds from the white sands of the beach, Apartment 25 offers relaxed, bright, two-bedroom coastal living at the quiet end of Onetangi Beach.



The Space:

This sunny apartment is designed for comfortable days by the sea. Large windows frame the blue water and bring natural light into the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. The layout keeps the apartment easy to use, with the main social spaces at the front and the bedrooms set back for privacy.



The living area has comfortable seating and a calm, beachside feel, with views out to the bay. The dining table sits beside the windows, making it an easy place for shared meals. The kitchen includes full-size appliances, good bench space, and everything needed for simple cooking at home.



Both bedrooms are well sized. The master has a queen bed and warm natural light. The second bedroom has two single beds, ideal for children or friends travelling together. Two bathrooms keep morning routines smooth.



Shared gas BBQs are available for guest use in the landscaped common area at The Sands.

Apartment 25 sits on level two, in the unit block at the end of the carparking area.



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the apartment and the shared outdoor BBQ area at The Sands. Parking is available onsite. Early check-ins and late check-outs may be possible on request, depending on bookings before and after your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Apartment 25 by Stay Waiheke is set at the quieter end of Onetangi Beach, with a flat walk along the sand to local cafés and beachside dining.



Nearby breakfast and coffee options include Charlie Farley’s and the Beach Store Waiheke, both popular for relaxed beachfront mornings. For lunch, guests can choose Three Seven Two or The Heke, a casual modern grill and brewery a few minutes’ drive away. Dinner options include Ki Māha for refined beachfront dining or Casita Miro for Spanish-inspired shared plates overlooking the vines.



Wineries close to the apartment include Tantalus Estate and Obsidian Vineyard, both offering tastings and vineyard-style dining.



Getting Around:

The nearest bus stop is on Fourth Avenue / The Strand.

Buses run from Onetangi stopping close to all major wineries including The Heke then continue into Oneroa and on to the Matiatia passenger ferry.

Taxis, hire cars, scooters, and e-bikes are also available on the island. Parking is provided at the property.



Other Things to Note:

This is a self-catered holiday home, not a fully catered stay. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, coffee, tea, and milk to help you settle in on arrival. Once these starter items have been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed during their stay.



Beach towels are provided at all The Sands properties managed by Stay Waiheke.



The Sands operates on rainwater tanks, so guests must be mindful of water use, especially in summer.



There is a coffee plunger, fan and heater at the property.



There is no smoking inside the apartment or on the balconies. External smoke detectors are fitted, and any Fire Brigade call-out will incur a $5,000 fee charged to the guest. Smoking is permitted only in the designated picnic area.



Shared gas BBQs are available for guest use.



Minimum stays:

7 nights mid-December to mid-January

3 nights on holiday weekends

2 nights at all other times

The Stay Waiheke team is available 7 days a week from 8:30am to 5pm for general queries.
