The accommodation is very handy to the downtown city area. Plenty of space. The picking up of the key - the info on this process says use your bank card (or any card with the same size) not true I tried several cards of the same size none of them worked. We spent 20 minutes on the first evening untangling the blind cords so we could lower them and close them. The curtains need fixing. The bed needs moved from under the window to another wall as closing the blinds and drapes is impossible without climbing on the bed, perhaps windows shutters could be an option. No dish cloth to wipe the dirty shelves and wash out the tea stained cups, dirty plates and cutlery. Think we should charge for doing repairs and cleaning.

Needed a good clean. Bloodstains on the bedhead, dirty laundry in the cupboard and toilet not cleaned not a great start. Sheets etc fine. Good place to stay but room needs attending to.

Terrible check in process where I had to pick up a key 10 minutes away from the accommodation, made me change rooms half way through my stay and emailed to tell me this at 11.20pm the night before I had to leave, no wifi, the bathroom was dirty, terrible communication and no where to leave my bags when my flight was in the afternoon. I really would not recommend anyone stays here.

My only concern was the road noise as there is only single glazed windows being an older building . Otherwise a comfortable stay .

Break to relax

Sounded good online. The booking in time changed to 3 making it later than advertised 2:30. Hanging around Auxkland with bags wasn't what I expected. More than 5 minute walk after accessing room key. Room clean & tidy. Hoping to gwt some washing done as powder available but not appliances. On positive note there was a bath. Luxury. A little disappointed overall.

Room is not well maintained, power points coming our of wall, airconditioning switch broken, door stops broken. Poor key pick up instructions with a lot of disgruntled people waiting for keys to arrive, some even waiting on the road for 2 hours. Sounded like it was the owner that turned up eventuallly and was very rude and not at all interested in everyones concerns. I can see you would have issues if you were after a refund for any reason. Would not stay here again.

Great location but room lacks maintenance

Disappointed paying good money for a room desperately requiring maintenance. Daughter locked in bathroom unable to get out due to broken door handle. Had to wait for my return to room to let her out. She is awaiting double organ transplant and our mum daughter weekend started off very scary. Broken room curtain so curtains unable to close fully. Air con knob fell off. Freezer frozen over and door unable to be closed. Had to defrost so we could use the fridge. Should not allow rooms in this condition to be booked out.

There were bed bugs in the bed and we were only provided two towels and weren't able to get any more towels from Hotels. We were told not to ask for room service. Not impressed especially because we were staying in a hotel

arrived to 2 towels for 2 adults ( 3 night stay ) My Hotel stated I could purchase towels for an extra $10..00 per towell ( (appalling). No washer / dryer. No dish washing liquid. Vacuum cleaner head covered in hair and dirt on the wardrobe floor. Off putting.

Needs maitenance check:

Curtain half falling off rail, no cupboard door under kitchen sink, no towel rails in bathroom, no wi-fi, someone elses sock in drawer, only enough milk pods for one night stay,no facilities to leave suitcase after check out at 10am. We were not flyingout till 5pm

booked paid and found from further mail I needed to walk to another site to get key , no parking available girl delivered key in the end , it did not work , hotel staff would not help as I had booked an apartment .. New key delivered , this did not work . Had to change rooms to much smaller in tower block .. all this took about an hour .. The system employed by "MY HOTEL" MANAGEMENT CO. is seriously flawed .. was told the Director would call me and that a credit would be available , not heard from anyone and doubt I ever will ...It has no on site office nor reception ... stay again NEVER , recommend NEVER...

Check in with the property manager was not good (this is a private rental) Had to drag suitcases a couple of blocks away and back to the Heritage again. Did get assistance from staff on request however (We were slightly early because of plane changes due to fuel shortage) Apartment was nice and clean but the door was off the sink cupboard, screw driver holding top window in place so it could not open, rubbish tin in the kitchen not emptied (we rang office to let them know) Surprised there was not a telephone available, but that may be because it is a private rental. Also no plug in the bathroom for a Hairdryer, tongs etc. Door Stop in Bathroom out of floor, Curtains would not close due to being unattached from draw cord. Was not told that there was going to be Scaffolding out side of our Window with work men appearing on several occasions. The question is, who is responsible for maintaining this property? All in all not a great experience.

Nice hotel but convoluted checking-in process

The hotel room is quite nice as it is part of Heritage Hotels. However the booking was made through My Hotel. There is no check-in counter via this method. Inn fact, I needed to walk to a small room a few blocks away, find a locker, open the locker, find the key and walk back to the hotel. Checking out was much easier, just leave the key in the room.

Auckland CBD break

The apartment was lovely and spacious but could do with a little maintenance, one door off in kitchen and door stop broken in bathroom, curtain cord broken. Having said this it was very comfortable, great bed and very spacious and clean. I would definately stay again. No servicing during two night stay.

Always enjoy the Hertitage

Really enjoyed our stay, However we thought the placement of the bed under the window to be cold and drafty. Also the street noise was excessive and I think double glazing would be of great benefit. The ac worked well but we found the bedroom area quite a bit colder. I think if you turn the bed around against the end wall it will make quite a difference.

Convinient and clean, but tired

Good centrally located appartment, let down by 1. having to pick up the keys 4 blocks walk away - on a wet evening, with luggage = :( 2. Only one key ... inconvinient (especially when its needed to use lifts. 3. Lots of deferred maintenance - e.g. bathroom door handle broken (wouldn't open from inside), sliding door off track, curtains wouldn't pull, kitchen sink incorrectly plumbed (hot and cold wrong way around). 4. It has a "full size" bar fridge. I'm pretty sure no bar fridge could reasonably be described as "full size". 5. Plastic plates (amongst a stack of crockery ones) really let down the feel of the place.
