Despite the clean appearance of the hotel, my overall experience was very disappointing.
The sliding shower door in the bathroom was broken and would not stay closed, forcing me to hold the door with one foot while showering. I requested a room change, but was told that no rooms were available and no immediate action was taken. At checkout, this issue was not properly addressed; I was only told later via email that someone would follow up, which felt insufficient.
In addition, the bathroom door did not close properly, and the soundproofing was very poor. I could clearly hear conversations from the hallway. The heater was extremely loud—so much so that I would not have been able to sleep without earplugs.
The award-winning breakfast was also underwhelming. There were very limited food options. The boiled eggs were cold and inedible, and the cream cheese for the bagels was not refilled. It was difficult to understand how this breakfast received any award.
Overall, the hotel did not meet basic expectations for comfort or service.
