The lower level is a separate basement apartment leased to a local film studio, which houses its own short-term tenants there. It functions as a wholly separate household, much like the other half of a duplex.

You will share nothing with that space:

• Separate private entrance, on its own side of the home
• Separate driveway and carport, exclusively yours for your entire stay
• Separate kitchen, bathroom, and laundry — nothing is shared at any point
• The single interior stairwell between the two levels stays locked at all times. Neither household can access the other's space.
