The Space:

This is a modernist house on 3.2 private wooded acres, reached by a walkway that crosses into the trees, so you arrive above the ground rather than on it. It was fully renovated last year and furnished with real intent, and the architecture does most of the talking.

The main living room rises a full two storeys with black steel windows on two sides, so the room is surrounded by canopy in every direction. Paper globe lanterns hang the height of the space, a concrete firebox anchors one wall, and a walnut credenza sits against full-height curtains. Off it, a study with a gallery wall and a long timber desk looks straight into the trees.

The kitchen is a working one: a stainless island with seating, dark full-height cabinetry, wall ovens and a vented hood, opening to a dining table under pendant lighting. A sculptural open stair connects the levels.

There are two bedrooms and four bathrooms. The primary has its own wall of glass to the woods and a marble bathroom with a separate shower and tub. The bathrooms are each treated differently, from deep green tile to full marble.

Outside, an open air deck sits up in the canopy with seating and a glass balustrade, and a lower terrace holds an outdoor dining table beside a sculptural chimney. Beyond that the land simply becomes forest.

You can access your space 24/7 via our custom coded smart locks. Please note that for your security all of our properties have Ring cameras. Parking is on the property for approximately four cars, with additional street parking available.

Welcome to Lake Claire, one of intown Atlanta's quietest and most characterful pockets, bordering Candler Park to the west. The home sits on more than three wooded acres yet remains minutes from the restaurants and shops of Candler Park village, the Lake Claire Community Land Trust, and Little Five Points. Freedom Park and the PATH trail are close by, and Decatur Square, Emory and the BeltLine are all a short drive.

Getting Around:

The house sits minutes from Candler Park village and Little Five Points, with Decatur Square, Emory and Downtown Atlanta all a short drive. The PATH trail and Freedom Park connect through to the BeltLine Eastside Trail by bike. Edgewood-Candler Park MARTA station is roughly a mile away, and Hartsfield-Jackson is about a twenty-five minute drive.
