The Neighborhood:
Downtown Atlanta is the ultimate in urban living. From the Victorian era buildings to the brand new skyscrapers, it’s the center of action in the city. Downtown has a few distinct areas, such as Fairlie-Poplar, South Downtown, Centennial Hill and Sono. While each one has its own special flair and flavor, they all have the high powered mix of restaurants, attractions and commerce that characterizes Downtown.

Getting Around:
Peachtree Center Marta Station is 3 blocks away. The train takes 25 minutes to the airport ($2.50), Midtown is 5 minutes, Buckhead is 10 minutes. The condo is also right next to the on-ramp for I-75/85 and I-20, so getting around by car is also very convenient. You are a 5-10 minute Uber or Lyft from anything Downtown or Midtown, traffic considering. There are BYRD scooters for rent right outside the building per availability. This condo is on the Freedom Park Trail, so you can be on the Beltline in 10 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
Guests should note that the condo is located in the heart of the city and just like other city centers in the US, there are often houseless individuals smoking drinking around the area and outside of our building. Unfortunately this is something out of our control.
Also the building is under construction at the moment, so there are blowers in the floor of the lobby and in the hallways to get rid off the smells, if you find them too loud at night, you can turn them off. Our parking lot is on-site but privately owned and the third party owner is not very responsible, so you may see some trash in the area. In addition, the parking lot can get creepy at night, please find another parking lot nearby if you are not comfortable. Once more, unfortunately this is also something out of our control.
AC and heating are available seasonally. The AC is a PTAC system - wall units controlled by the HOA without a thermostat. We check the weather frequently and try to notify guests if we think it can be problematic, which may happen in transition seasons like the start of Spring or Fall. If you have very high standards for the temperature, we may not be your good choice.
Please remember you are in a condominium with other residents and owners. As your hosts, we try as much as we can to be available from 830am to 930pm but please note - we may be in a meeting, at a doctor's appointment, and after-hours, sleeping. If you need a lot of assistance after hours and guaranteed immediate responses during the day, this may not be the condo for you.

Check in was simple and communication with property manager was quick. We came for the Peach Bowl and were able to walk to everything. For 3 guys, it worked out well with the 3 rooms. Can't beat that! It was hot in there though and we were told that only heat runs this time of year. The lobby area is nice but good grief do the common areas need love. And the entire floor does smell like weed. I probably wouldn't stay here with my family but if you are headed with some buddies to check out anything around the Mercedes Benz Stadium, this place will fit your needs. Bed I slept in was comfortable and while there is a tent city on the other side of the fence from the parking lot we didn't feel unsafe in the area.

Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations and raised serious safety concerns. The building was undergoing renovations on the lower level, and there was a posted notice on the door stating construction was stopped due to the building being unsafe or not structurally sound, which was alarming.The air conditioning is controlled by the HOA rather than the unit, and the building was unbearably hot throughout our stay. Our assigned parking space was occupied by another vehicle for the entire weekend, and instead of the car being addressed or towed, we were required to park in visitor parking.Safety was a major concern, especially for women traveling alone. One member of our group arrived later than the rest and was harassed from outside the building, into the elevator, and all the way to the floor where we were staying. This was extremely unsettling and made us feel unsafe throughout the stay.Cleanliness was also an issue, I woke up one morning to find a cockroach in the bed. Additionally, the entire building had a strong smoke smell. None of the TVs in the unit worked during our stay.Overall, due to the safety concerns, building conditions, lack of climate control, parking issues, and cleanliness problems, this was not a comfortable or acceptable experience.

Outdated, dirty and not renovated.
The details of how to check in were lost with the multiple messages about staying longer. So I missed the outside check in procedure and when I called the number given I was sent directly to voicemail. Thankfully someone let us in and we figured it out. The whole place smells like smoke and is very dated. The unit itself was very dirty. We found a cockroach in the fridge, missing cushions on the couch and stains on all furniture and rugs. There was also missing lightbulbs in multiple rooms. There were 5 of us and we were given two towels and wash cloths. The third bedroom also has no privacy. It has glass doors and the windows open without screens. (A mom’s nightmare from the 12th floor- so my teenager stayed in that room!). Upon talking to the company they promised to bring towels but it didn’t happen until the next morning. After a sleepless night of pot smell and noises we were going to go home instead of staying the second night. however the company said they had another unit downstairs we could try. We moved as it was a full 3 bedrooms and much cleaner than the first unit so I was thankful for that. The pool area was also very dirty and dated so we wouldn’t let the kids swim, which is why we booked this property in the first place. Communication done through the app was easy but without the ability to move units we would have had to cut our trip short.
