One of the least touristic yet wonderful areas of Athens with many things to offer. Pagrati/Mets is full of hip bars and cafés from high-end Michelin star dining (Spondi) to more casual joints (Fish Point) with it’s half fish market/ half sushi offerings. Make sure to stop by the organic grocery next door!



Just minutes from Alsos Park where you can find a perfect afternoon walk in the wooded pine tree grounds. This area is situated just behind the Panathenaico stadium and at the far end it meets the First Cemetery of Athens. Go there for a peaceful round and visit many 19th century graves.



At the center is Varnava square, a bustling circle with many cafe's and hip corner bars. Traditional food, meze (small plate) dinner options and late night crawls can all be found. This is an exciting area with the new Goulandris Museum of Modern Art just 5 minutes away by foot.
