Glyfada belongs on the south coast of Attica. Extremely popular for the warm atmosphere, the rich commercial center, the lively entertainment, and the prime waterfront location. Two of the best marinas are located in Glyfada, where they host a number of luxurious yachts and keep busy the young crowd with water activities. The municipality has an area of 25.366 km2 and it is described as the head point of the Athens Riviera. Glyfada is connected to the center of Athens via two main avenues (Poseidonos Avenue and Vouliagmenis Avenue).
