Sunsite Estates Waterfront

Nous vous invitons Ă  l'Ăźle de Manitoulin. Notre chalet est disponible toute l'annĂ©e, et a toutes les commoditĂ©s de la maison (y compris mĂȘme un lave-vaisselle, ainsi que d'un lave-linge et sĂšche-linge).

Situé sur les eaux tranquilles de Manitowaning Bay, vous serez sans doute profiter de votre séjour. Le gßte dispose de deux chambres, le maßtre étant particuliÚrement spacieux. Nous pouvons accueillir jusqu'à six personnes, avec un canapé-lit.

Le chalet est situĂ©s sur une route prĂšs de la route 6, Ă  mi-chemin entre South Baymouth (le terminus de Ferry) et Little Current (oĂč il y a accĂšs Ă  l'Ăźle par le pont).

La pĂȘche est excellente (le brochet est abondante). Un record du monde truite brune a Ă©tĂ© capturĂ© dans le chenal Nord l'automne dernier.

Il y a un barbecue au propane à la disposition de tous nos clients. TV, magnétoscope et lecteur DVD sont également disponibles. Les clients sont priés d'apporter leur propre linge. En l'absence est permis de fumer dans le chalet.

Championnat de golf se trouve à proximité de Rainbow Ridge (vantant les greens les plus rapides dans le Nord de l'Ontario).

Les restaurants locaux sont grands, avec beaucoup offrant la délicatesse locale de corégones du lac Huron (deux de nos favoris sont The Old Schoolhouse à Providence Bay et du Garden Gate Restaurant à Tehkummah).

Great cottage

Must say, nothing but good comments to make about SunSight Estates Waterfront. Doug was quick to respond to any questions that we had. The cottage was spotless, and looked like it had been professionally renovated recently. Great kitchen, and very spacious throughout the cottage. We would not hesitate for a second to return at a later date and spend another enjoyable week.

Beautiful island property

We returned to Manitoulin where we honeymooned 50 years ago. The first few days we were on our own and another couple joined us later. Plenty of room and aside from a corkscrew(we left one there) and measuring spoons, we had everything we needed. Lots of wildlife and loved the sound of the waves. Great spot!

The Property is wonderful! We loved the Beach, the Deck, the surrounding area. There is lots of room and the wife loved the kitchen. Can't say enough good things about the location. .... only one thing I would change, and this is just me, I really missed not seeing the Baseball Playoffs so having a sports channel that plays live would make it 1000 percent, :) ... but again, this is just me. The Place was awesome! the time we spent there went waaaay to fast, wish I could do it all over again, sooner than later Thank you Doug and Zein,

A Perfect Getaway

Paradise!!!

Amazing cottage! I spent the week here to refuel and recharge and I will coming back! The view is spectacular, the deck facing east and feeling that morning sun was the best way to start my day. It’s a short drive to the village and perfectly located to visit the area. A MUST!

First Family and Friend get away

I’ve got a daughter who has epilepsy and a list of other complications. 2 years ago she had surgery that started us on a much more positive path. This is our first ever family vacation just myself and my 2 daughters. I invited my childhood friend to come along after reconnecting and this is exactly what we all needed! Sunsite Estates Cottage

I stayed at this cottage for three weeks in April while I was working in the area, and it was everything I was looking for, plus more. The location is convenient and the view of the bay is spectacular. The cottage was very clean upon arrival. Also, having the barbecue available to use was a huge bonus! The hosts were pleasant, friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a home base for adventures on this beautiful island.

Relaxing Getaway that has further potential

Communication was super easy and Douglas was quick to respond. Internet access can be iffy. Comforters didn't help to keep the chill out so would suggest warmer ones for late summer, mattresses need replaced. . .was a difficult sleep with the queen bed where you could feel the springs. Kitchen is beautiful but needs a severe upgrade for cookware - pans and pots were clearly abused by others and the best frying pan and pot were Betty Crocker brand. . .I love to cook so a little more judgemental in this area. Also, plates and bowls were chipped, again likely from poor use of others. Beach chairs and a firepit would be awesome additions for future guests. Some other improvements would be screendoor replaced on front door, sliding door fixed with proper lock so it remains shut and doesn't have a gap that allows bugs to continue coming in and the biggest thing would be to fix the shower/tub handle which goes cold in the hot direction, and a mix of both cold and hot at the bottom of the cold direction with the showerhead leaking water out. We truly enjoyed our stay but found some pf the neighbours from up the road noisey, especially as we headed into the long weekend with muaic blaring late into the night a few cottages over. Next door neighbour cottage dwellers were quiet and therefore lovely, they kept to themselves. Beach is very rocky as is the water but has a ton of quartz and fossils for those who love to collect or hunt for the aforementioned. Recommend watershoes. Thank you

Family holiday

We had great family holiday! The cottage was a home away from home! Everything was exactly the way we thought it would be. Nice and quite right at the end of a very quite road. Right at the water. We were able to kayak and swim. Did some fishing but was unable to catch anything. Totally awesome trip we’re totally stay here again!

A stay at Manitowaning Bay

We had a lovely time at this cottage! It is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We loved the view of the water, and being able to walk down to our own private beach. I'd say we spent the majority of our time on the deck or by the water, enjoying the peace, quiet, nature and sunshine. It was a lovely, peaceful week. We very much hope to return again next year!
