We chose this property specifically for the indoor pool, which was advertised as a key feature. Unfortunately, the pool was unusable due to extremely high chlorine levels.Within a short time in the pool area, members of our group, including children, experienced burning skin, rashes, coughing, and respiratory irritation. The indoor air quality was also affected and became uncomfortable due to the strong chemical levels.We contacted the host, who acknowledged the issue and advised us to add water to dilute the chlorine. We followed those instructions and allowed it to sit overnight, but the levels remained unsafe the next day, and the pool was still unusuable.Because the pool was the main reason we booked, this significantly impacted our stay. Once it was clear the issue could not be resolved, we left early.We made a good faith effort to resolve the issue, but the problem persisted.We would strongly caution future guests to confirm the pool is properly maintained, especially if traveling with children or if that amenity is important to your stay.
