« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Hygge House! It is beautifully decorated & every comfort was considered. Our girls were "unplugged" through the whole weekend. They rotated between the hot tub, the swings on the pergola, playing in the creek and roasting marshmallows. The host was very responsive when we called with a question. The Hygge House is a perfect retreat for families! »

« Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Hot tub was clean. Deck was in great condition. There was a gate on upper deck so our dogs were able to enjoy being outdoors with us on the deck in the evenings. Great look out just up the road at the Blackrock park/viewing point. Communication with owners was prompt and very friendly. »

« Very clean and a great, quiet location. My husband and I spent our first-ever weekend away from the kids, and it was way more space than we needed, but we appreciated the quiet time away. If we had brought the kids, they would have loved it, too! Maybe next time. ;) »

« Very beautiful spot they have here. We enjoyed our stay here from chilling by the fire looking at the stars to a family breakfast in the spacious kitchen and dinning room. Only hiccup we find were some ant friends but that’s to be expected in the middle of the woods, so be aware of where you keep your food and to clean up after yourself. We’ll definitely be back. »
