Welcome to the Back House of the Good Old Artsy Tartsy. BEST LOCATION in the Lakes area....Just steps away from Broadway Street with bars, restaurants, and shopping. The East/West Lake Okoboji bridge is just down the road featuring the iconic Smiths Bay beach area, The Ritz, and The Okoboji Store.
This efficient back house was recently renovated and sleeps four. It features a queen murphy bed with (Tuft and Needle mattress) and a queen sofa pull out bed. Powder room and shower room. Full kitchen with range and microwave and full-size refrigerator. Stacked washer and dryer. Climate controlled unit. T.V. with cable and high-speed internet. There is a covered front and side patio with a seating area for the Back House. This is a very comfortable space which is walkable to anywhere in Okoboji.

- 50 steps to Boji Spudz (donut shop);

- 550 steps to the emporium;
- 200 steps to the Boondocks (small convenience store / gas station / Jimmy Johns, across the street)
- 10 steps to the Arnolds Park Police Department and City Hall ;-)
- Sorry, going to have to drive to the Taco House (a few miles).

Cancelation Policy – Okoboji Vacation has set this policy with you in mind. You are allowed to cancel your reservation up to 60 days prior to your arrival with a full refund. If you need to cancel between 59 days and 30 days you will receive a 50% refund. Within 30 days of your arrival no refunds are given. Additional terms and conditions may apply if booking through a channel.

To ensure convenience and comfort, we provide a welcome kit of essential amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish & hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, face bar soap, garbage bags, dishwasher & laundry detergent. Included in your cleaning fee is the above toiletry starter pack, propane replacement, and access to our Host Store; where we offer a range of supplemental services and items including early check-in/late check-out options, hangover kits, or fresh flowers for a romantic getaway. Pack n’ play or toddler cot, package of bottled water, firewood, etc. are available for a small fee on our Host Store (email sent one week before check-in) and will be waiting in the home on your arrival. Advanced Payment of 50% is due at the time of booking. Remaining Balance due 30 days prior to your arrival. Failure to remit final rental payment by scheduled due date may result in cancellation of your reservation
All payments are refundable prior to the cancelation due dates. To protect your rental investment, we strongly encourage purchasing travel insurance. No refunds will be given for late arrivals, early departures, no shows, or cleaning or maintenance concerns. If present and reported, all cleaning or maintenance concerns will be corrected promptly.
Service fees may apply to guests who reserve online with a third party booking website. Third party services fees are not controlled nor collected by Okoboji Vacation Company, and as such are not reflected on reservation statements provided by Okoboji Vacation Company.
A cancellation fee of 50% will be charged to the traveler if canceled between 60 days and 31 days prior to arrival. Reservations canceled within 30 days of arrival will result in no refund.
A refundable security deposit of $300 may be charged on reservations. Guests will be responsible for all intentional damage to include but not limited to broken items, soiled or misplaced linens, loss of keys, theft, or failure to remove garbage from the property, or leaving the property excessively dirty. Confetti or glitter is not allowed in the property.
