The staff were most friendly and my conference was excellent, but the hotel let itself down with ludicrous prices for food and beverages -- and my room had a ceiling of enormous cobwebs (see photo). One glass of red wine and a pint of beer was 13 pounds. The restaurant was full on the evening I arrived so I had to eat in the bar.
