« Le gîte est bien situé et très propre. Bien équipé et les lits sont confortables. Nombreuses promenades à pieds depuis la location. L’hôte nous a guidé par téléphone jusqu'au gite alors que nous nous étions trompés d’adresse avec une grande patience car nous parlons mal anglais. « We enjoyed such a cosy stay here. The check in was very straightforward and the host was available for any queries. The view was lovely and we enjoyed sitting in front of the wood burner and watching the changing weather and the ferries coming and going. They have thought of everything, including straighteners, cosy blankets, board games and candles. Will definitely be back. »

« This was a great place to stay. It is right off the main road and has a wonderful view of the bay and islands. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. My favorite thing about the apartment was the floor to ceiling windows off the living room that transformed the living room into a balcony experience. »

« First impression was a light and airy feel to the apartment. Every room was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for us to self cater in the kitchen and entertain in the sitting room with games and jigsaws for rainy days. The apartment was on the first floor with stunning views across of the Kyles of Bute and beyond, and even binoculars to look at the otter and porpoises that we spotted from the window! Walking along to Tighnabuiach village was an easy 20 mins on the flat...

« The suite is advertised with stunning views over Loch Awe and Kilchurn castle but you can't see any of the Loch at all. The interior of the suite was kept well and clean and the host was polite. Easy check in and check out. »

« Perfect sized cottage for 2, with very comfortable bed, excellent hot water supply, well thought out kitchen and sitting room. The powerful shower is a bit too much for the slow drainage in the bathroom shower cubicle. This was the main problem we had (hence the one “4” rating”) but was not really a major issue. We appreciated the friendly welcome from Tayla, also the advice on walks around the estate and list of local eateries, although some of these are not fully operational at present. We...

« The property was situated in a beautiful position, right by the water and very central to the restaurants and shops of Helensburgh. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to use it again in the future. »

« L’état du logement pose problème. Les sols sont très irréguliers au point que plusieurs portes n’ouvrent pas ou pas totalement. Le bois des fenêtres est très dégradé au point qu’elles n’ouvrent que très difficilement. Et puis le logement est très bruyant car situé entre 2 routes. Heureusement que la vue sur la baie sauve le tout!!! »

« Ground floor apartment behind the distillery and directly across from 10 rubbish bins. To combat the smell, pungent chemical air freshers are used (without success). We only stayed here 2 nights and every morning there was a trash collection. Since it is behind the distillery, many trucks also passed right by our front window. Also had issues with our door locking but the lovely cleaning ladies helped coordinate. Very central location in oban. Metered lot and metered street parking close-by....
