The most important being that there was no air conditioner but instead an evaporative cooler which doesn’t really cool down the house, especially the bedrooms. « The host was super welcoming! This was our first trip out of the Country and to Coasta Rica! Derek was the top notch Host, greeting us as we arrived (His dog and cat as well!- Plus for us because we are animal people!), showing us around the property, and available if needed! « Melanie and Ericka were both very responsive and helpful navigating this property. The view of Arenal Volcano was spectacular and worth the winding, bumpy roads to get there. The accommodation was beautiful. We had wished to spend more time on the deck (our favorite lounging spot) and rooftop patio, but the weather wasn't very cooperative.
