Little Bay Cottage - Arakoon, Nouvelle-Galles du Sud

  • Un joli chalet de deux chambres niché sur le côté gauche à la fin d'un cul-de-sac situé en bordure de l'aire de pique-nique de Little Bay. Avec la plage de Little Bay pratiquement à votre porte et la prison de Trial Bay, Laggers Point et le parc national ne sont qu'à quelques minutes.

    Ce chalet a été récemment rénové et dispose d'une cuisine ouverte, salle à manger, salon qui déborde par des portes vitrées sur la terrasse. Détendez-vous sur la terrasse dans le mobilier d'extérieur pendant que vous cuisinez votre dîner sur le barbecue à gaz.

    Deux chambres, la principale avec un lit queen et la deuxième chambre avec un ensemble de lits superposés et un lit gigogne.

    Salle de bain avec WC séparé.

    La buanderie est située en bas avec une machine à laver et un sèche-linge.

    Situé dans la position idéale pour faire une courte randonnée à travers le promontoire.

    Que vous aimiez pêcher, nager ou vous imprégner d'un peu d'histoire au Trial Bay Gaol, c'est un endroit idéal pour s'évader le week-end.

    Little Bay est une plage isolée nichée entre des falaises de granit, juste au sud du promontoire près de Trial Bay Gaol dans le parc national d'Arakoon. Emportez votre équipement de pêche pour une journée à la plage.

    Il y a la possibilité de déjeuner tranquillement à l'ombre des arbres Paperbark dans la zone de pique-nique de Little Bay à proximité donnant sur l'océan. Si vous voulez faire de l'exercice, essayez la piste de marche historique de Monument Hill à proximité.

    Si vous aimez observer les oiseaux, la lande voisine est un paradis pour les fantails, les troglodytes et les méliphages, tandis que les faucons, les faucons et les balbuzards planent au-dessus des falaises et se nourrissent le long des plages.

Overall a great stay. Be aware that you need linen, towels, bath mats, tea towels. Absolutely no supplies like tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper.. bring everything and you'll be fine.

As advertised. Basic but functional with surprisingly well stocked kitchen utensils. Some ambient lighting in living area wouldn’t go astray i.e. a lamp or two.

It's a basic but comfirtable cottage and the location is great, just a 5 minute walk to Littel Bay Beach and the headland walks and it is only a few minutes drive to town. The only complaint is the bad smell from the toilet, of urine, which we don;t think was cleaned prior to our arrival. Not ideal but otherwise we had a great stay.

From the moment we arrived at Little Bay Cottage, we felt right at home. A helpful tip for future guests: if you’re arriving in a larger car, we recommend reversing up East Street and into the driveway — we did this from day one and it made coming and going incredibly easy. The cottage itself is set in a truly magical spot. One morning, we were lucky enough to spot a koala lounging in a tree just off the back verandah — right on the property! Kangaroos regularly visited nearby, kookaburras provided a classic Aussie soundtrack, and a walk along the Little Bay Beach bush track even treated us to dolphin sightings. Inside, the cottage is all about slowing down and soaking in the moment. We loved unwinding with books from the shelf, watching DVDs, tuning in to free-to-air TV, and spending time together with the games and puzzles provided. Everything was clean, comfy, and well set up — from the beds and bathroom to the lounge and kitchen. The shower head, which was mentioned in a previous review, looked brand new to us and worked perfectly. The BBQ was easy to use, and the kitchen had everything we needed for relaxed meals. There’s a small patch of internet reception on the far side of the double bed — just enough to look up your next adventure. But honestly, this is the kind of place where you’ll want to disconnect. And don’t miss Little Bay Beach at sunrise — it’s pure magic. If we could buy this place and keep it forever, we would!

Nestled in nature with Koalas in the trees, Kangaroos on the grass and only a 3 minute walk to Little Bay Beach and bush walking tracks - this place is beautiful. The accommodation is quaint, comfortable and clean. There is a constant cool coastal breeze that cooled the house and kept it comfortable, there were also fans if required. Arakoon is just a short drive (or a comfortable walk) from south west rocks restaurants and shopping precinct. It is away from the hustle and bustle of this tourist town. The beautiful Trial bay is just around the corner, accessed by car or beautiful short bush walks. There is so much to do and enjoy in this region... I will definitely be back and would stay again at Little Bay Cottage, it was ideal for me and my two girls and our love of nature and the outdoors.
