This spectacular estate home sits on 32 park like acres with two ponds and borders Kit Carson National Forest. The gated entrance leads you through a grove of mature aspen trees up to the single level home custom designed for maximum comfort and convenience. Included are many uniquely designed features, such as light fixtures designed by an Austin, TX artist. Heat is provided to the whole house via a radiant in-floor system. The open floor plan design for kitchen/dining/living makes it easy for everyone to gather. The great room opens to a large flagstone patio with its own fireplace and provides the opportunity to enjoy the views and the wildlife in the park like setting. The unique floor to ceiling fireplace is handcrafted with Anasazi stacked stone and a custom wrought iron screen. The fireplace tools and door hardware were custom-made by a Taos artist. Guests will love the ease of one level living, with the master on one end and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the other side of the spacious great room. Each bedroom has a roll-away twin bed for extra sleeping space. Local moss rock from the property was used in the design and building of the outside wainscot. Step outside and enjoy the wonderful, secluded surroundings where the trees have been thinned for health, and provide a lush mountain environment. Bordering the Kit Carson National Forest allows for easy access to hiking trails. Guests will enjoy the use of the 2-car garage, which will keep your vehicle snow free in the winter! **Please note, 4WD/AWD is required in the winter months**

LOCATION: This home is approximately 5.8 miles or a 16-minute drive from the Angel Fire mountain activities. Shared community indoor heated pool located at the Angel Fire Country Club approximately 3.8 miles or 13-minute drive (fee applies)
PARKING: On-site parking for 4 to 5 vehicles and use of 2-car garage
INSURANCE: Most reservations come with accidental damage insurance, should you have an accident in the home. The Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 OR $1,000,000 coverage for property damage and bodily injury depending on the property.

This property was beautiful!! There were 7 adults a 5 year old and a toddler and had plenty of room. We loved all the pictures and the way it was decorated. The views from the deck were amazing!! We had a great time and would love to go back and stay again!!

Beautiful!

The home was beautiful, but for the price, it was much smaller than we expected. There is one big great room and bedrooms/bathrooms, that was it. It took almost 24 hours for it to warm up as the only heat source is the floor heat and a fireplace. It was FREEZING when we arrived. The septic smell in the laundry room was overpowering and took a couple of hours to dissipate. It did say online that the roads were plowed, but the driveway, which is long and steep, was not. Neither was the house shoveled. The checkin and out process was different as we had to stop and pick up a key and drop it off. There was no code, and the house automatically locks, so we nearly locked ourselves out several times. The cabin is literally at the top of the mountain, so the views are amazing. The cabin was very clean and had all of the comforts provided. I loved the bedding and the confort of the beds. The rollout beds were very thoughtful.

Great Views!

The house is very nice and the furnishings are top notch. It's great that every bedroom has it's own outside door to a patio/deck area. Love the outside and inside fireplaces. The view is great!
