« On a very quiet small lake, but plenty of things to do. Kayaks, paddleboard, float pad, and hot tub were a big hit. Plenty of games and activities in the house too for rainy days. Greg was great at communicating everything about the house and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again! »

« You can tell Charlie and kayla are both parents - they really did think of everything, even the small details to cater for a family getaway. Our kids loved the hidden bunk bed room behind the bookshelf door especially! All the games, books and toys kept them busy and we all loved the peaceful location by the river/lake. He explained everything in his gite and he suggested activities and restaurants. the cottage is very good, it's quiet and it was perfect for me who was going mountain biking Highland bike park. « The house was very nice and comfortable for four of us. Even though it rained each day, there is plenty of nearby shopping. We always try to do short term rentals when we travel. A couple of suggestions - the house had no wash cloths, no can opener, no salt & pepper shakers. Towels racks in the bathrooms would be a huge help. The listing indicated a hot tub and 2+ bathrooms. There was no hot tub and two full baths. There was no welcome booklet with local restaurants, points of interest, wifi...

Groceries, ice cream, takeout are all within 2 miles. Short trip trip to Laconia and Meredith. « Just as described, the beautiful restoration was secluded and quiet and close to Concord and Contoocook. We stocked up on local farm goods at the nearby Dimond Hill Farm. The house was well stocked in linens and the kitchen, and activity shed. We even had a cute baby porcupine grazing nearby as we had some morning coffee by the fire pit. »
