Un jour à Amman et c'est assez.

Les chambres sont bien. Mais tout le reste est en dessous des attentes. Seul le petit déjeuner est servi au restaurant (qui ressemble à un bar des années 70). Sinon, c'est le service en chambre. Le quartier est sans intérêt. La piscine n'existe que sur le panneau de l'ascenseur. Et finalement, la réception tente de nous vendre un taxi pour l'aéroport à un prix exorbitant. Décevant.

Did not live up to standards

This hotel is under some sort of construction which was not disclosed to us. The fitness room consisted of 2 machines in an old hotel room. it is worn down and cold. The name Warwick is no longer on the building which is very deceiving.

It was close to the place I planned to go

The open buffee was not a nice one. I was disappointed as the varities of food was limited and the taste as well was not good. The water was dirty for tea or coffee as well as the taste of water was not nice and i told the staff about it.

Could be better

I stayed there for 6 days. The hotel was labelled as 4 stars but should be 2 or 3 at most. When I arrived at 12 midnight after 18 hours flight, there was no parking for the rented car. The hotel has parking spots for 4 cars ONLY. The suite that I booked was smelly, has minibar but the mini refrigerator was not working. I asked for a refrigerator for my child milk and medicine but they had no way to get me one. The beds are not comfortable at all. The pillows are so thin . The bathroom has cheap quality of tiny soap bar which does not clean. I have to go out to buy soap. The towels are very very poor quality, dirty, ripped and almost black from being used for years. We felt disgusted to use them. The floor is marble but not clean. The sofa and curtains are dusty and smelly. Windows are dirty, obviously not cleaned for years. Next day I requested to clean the room but I they did not. They allow people to smoke in non smoking rooms (next to mine) and in the restaurant. Restaurant itself is depressing in its setting. They don't allow you to sit where you like. They put "Reserved" sign on most of the tables for the breakfast on daily basis but there were only 3 people there; no wonder. The food is old and rotten. Bread is not fresh. Coffee is cold. Me and my wife got sick the first day we ate there. I requested that I need to speak to the manager for 3 consequetive days during my stay but I was told that he is not answering the phone. I would not stay there again.

Friendly but not Great

The hotel was undergoing renovations but the first room thy gave us had several walls with paint peeling. After complaining, the manager switched us to a much nicer and newly renovated romm which was spacious and clean with lots of natural light. The breakfast buffet seldom included any fruit but we came to accept this as the norm at hotels of a similar category in Jordan. The staff really tries to be friendly but their very limited ability to communicate in English made it rather difficult. The most annoying thing is that smoking is permitted in the lobby longe area and in the restaurant, and even though some floors or rooms are supposed to be non smoking hotel guests do not really respect this. The smell of smoke is frequently present and you can feel it even in your room.

Very nice and professional staff..helpful as well.

The only drawback I had when I hired a driver through them which I found kind of unpleasant experience. I'm not going to talk bad about it because the manager was kind and nice in resolving this issue. But overall the front desk and restaurant were very good.

Why book a hotel there the pool area is closed for the season in my world that should be easy to understand when you book your stay feelt fooled poor breakfast e mailed the hotel about me need a early check in no reply at arrival yes we saw your e mail why not respond ???

Nice clean, comfortable hotel

Generally we found the Warwick Il Palazzo Hotel to be very good. The only thing that let it down was the dining staff. We'd been out to a restaurant the night before and woke up sick as a dog. Our breakfast was included in the stay, but all I wanted was a glass of lemonade instead of breakfast. Unfortunately the waiter said that we'd have to pay extra for the glass of lemonade, even though I wasn't eating any of the breakfast that we'd paid for. A glass of lemonade is way cheaper than a breakfast, so they should really have let us substitute a glass of lemonade for breakfast rather than charging us extra for it. If the waiter was more helpful with this request, we would have rated the hotel excellent.

Amazing night's sleep covers other flaws.

First and foremost, the beds in this hotel are easily in the top 5 of all time and I'm a constant traveller. It gets five stars, even if the rest of the hotel wasn't at the same standard. The shower is quite small and facilities like the gym and pool are seasonal. There is gym access, but it was freezing due to its location. I would recommend this hotel in the summer or warm weather, but would suggest something more in the downtown region during colder climates.

The bed is comfortable, but probably it is the only plus point of this place.... the toilet is hugly A 4 star hotel sbetter to avoid it. the hould at least have a minibar in the room... yes the fridge is there but nothing inside A 4 star hotel should have at least some comfort kit int he room as sleepers,, toothbrush.... nothing breakfast? better to avoid it.....

Good Hotel, Nice Staff

This was my first trip to Amman, and I was very lucky to wind up in a hotel with an honest staff, especially since everywhere in Amman I went I encountered liar after liar, trying to overcharge me for goods and services in department & grocery stores, restaurants, cash exchange booths and shops. Especially dishonest were the taxi drivers! Right now, if I had to give advice about Amman, I would say "Only go there if you have to and don't trust anyone!!" Check-in at the hotel was quick. There was a quiet bar near the lobby, and a restaurant on the rooftop which served good food, though sometimes it took a little too long getting to you. My room was of adequate size and was clean. It had a safe which was user-friendly. Because of the dishonesty of most of the merchants I met, I spent a lot of my time visiting Western hotels, as they can usually be trusted worldwide. The Warwick Il Palazzo's prices turned out to be very competitive.

Hotel is clean and comfortable but stuf at reception make it hard and say they dont have reservation for me and say the problem that hotels.com alwsys dont send confermation and after they look they found it.

Nice hotel 3.5 probably

Its a nicr hotel and convenient location; however the hotel needs more cleaning. Sheets had minor stains and bathrooms needs some work. If u need a quick stay its okay.

Pleasant hotel, no walking distance from Amman cen

We stayed for 2 nights as we arrived very late on the first night. Pleasant place to explore citadel, Jordan museum and downtown Jordan, the roman theatre, although not in walking distance at all. Very clean, and fantastic breakfast.

nice central hotel with nice rooftop balcony for breakfast or lounging. staff was friendly but a little absent about arranging tours for me (dead sea, petra) - i had asked online on their website for information but never recived a reply and staff on check in had no idea either. breakfast was good but one day i came for breakfast for the later part of the serving time and no coffee present. elevator was broken so the only wa to get to my floor was the stairs or the service elevator via the kitchen i had arrange transportation one day and was going to pay for it with my visa card (this is a 4 star hotel) and the front desk either couldnt /didnt know how to do this or it was broken - so i had to arrange for cash. room was ok - a little tired, wifi worked great

Wouldn't stay again.

Expensive for what they offer. Customer service is horrible, hotel doesn't allow any outside food/delivery but their service is very poor and slow. Also Hussam from front desk is incredibly rude, we requested to check out an hour late and he refused unless we pay for half a day saying there is a big group checking in and rooms are at full capacity (well if there's a big group, you wouldn't be able to give us the room anyway smarty pants, would you?) Location is central if you have a car but very limited parking. Rooms/bathrooms are good (more like a furnished apartment than a hotel). Breakfast is acceptable.
