Front garden. No smoking.. You are welcomed by an open fire and comfy sofas as soon as you step inside this cosy cottage, inviting you to relax in front of the roaring fire after a busy days walking. Past the living room is the kitchen/dining area which is amply equipped to serve all your culinary needs whether you want to rustle up a quick sandwich or work on a Michelin star worthy feast. There is a door leading down to a small cellar. Upstairs there are two bedrooms both boasting stunning rural views, the first is a double room and the second is a twin. The accommodation is completed with a family bathroom offering a bath with shower above.

The rural setting of the cottage sets the pulse racing with offers of breathtaking walks right from the front door, but if you want more than just walking or cycling there is so much more to explore in the local area. Popular towns such as Grasmere, Ambleside, Coniston and Windermere offer a great selection of independent shops catering for all your needs and after a quick shopping spree, unwind in one of the local cafes or bars and enjoy locally produced beverages. Maybe you’d prefer to visit one of the interesting museums or galleries and indulge in some of the culture that inspired famous writers like Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth to select this beautiful area and call it home.
