Nos maisons d'hôte de charme à Ambleside

« It's not a bad place to spend a night or two but is pretty dated and expensive for what you get. For some reason, no bath towels were provided and instead you get four hand towels. There was also only decaf coffee. All this would be fine if it was cheap, but it's not. »

« Location was perfect right in the centre of historic Hawkshead ask about car parking at the primary school. On Suite was very small, the vanity didn’t drain properly, the sensor light is a pain when you don’t want to wake-up your partner at night! A common problem with all accommodation in the Uk is that only having a Duvet on the bed to hot to use and worst no top sheet, Duvets are to hot in winter because of the heating and to hot in summer with no air conditioning and with no ventilation...

« The whole experience was amazing, all of staff where brilliant and relaxed. The food for breakfast was exactly what you wanted, the room was clean and big enough for 4 and the hot tub was clean, warm and natural. I cannot imagine us not going back. »

« lovely house with spectacular surroundings (hike around is superb), very nicely decorated traditional house, very good food and nice hosts; felt at home »

« Solo traveler, had a lovely stay! Location great, close to the station and bus stop. Amazing breakfast included and great room. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Windermere »

« Amazing place to stay. First time staying in a B&B having favoured hotel stays in the past and what a nice change in made. From the warm and friendly welcome and throughout the 3 day stay everything met or exceeded our expectations. The room (Burley) at the top of the house was amazing with a roll top bath in the room, the most comfortable of bed and just the ambiance of the house made the experience even better. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were super friendly too. »

« The Cottage is a pleasant accommodation in Windermere, located not too far from the train and bus station. I enjoyed my stay, however my room had cobwebs which doesn't look good. »

« We had 2 very good nights sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. Funny was the mirror in the bathroom was fitted well high up, you can not see yourself if you are about 5 ft tall. The shower screen was a bit narrow for the long shower tray, the floor got very wet when having shower. »

« Cute rooms! »

« L'hotel est tres bien situe. A quelques pas des restaurants et du lac. Petit tres copieux et les proprietaires accueillants et de bon conseil pour les balades dans le parc. »
