Our 4 bedroom home on South Monroe is set up for big groups, family reunions, and wedding party blocks. Sleeps 14 across 8 beds, with a She Cave and a Man Cave so the adults can split up after dinner. The kitchen handles real family meals, the BBQ grill is set up on the patio, and there is an indoor fireplace for cooler nights. Central air, central heat, washer and dryer on site. Single level layout, no stairs. Drive everywhere from a central Amarillo location with quick highway access.



The Space:

Our family home on South Monroe is the one we recommend when the whole family is coming, the wedding is in town, or the reunion needs a real house instead of three hotel rooms. Four bedrooms host up to 14 guests across 8 beds, which works for grandparents, parents, cousins, and the kids all under one roof.



The sleeping layout includes a king bed, queens for the adult kids and their families, and twins for the younger cousins. The mix gives you flexibility for whoever shows up. Extra pillows and blankets are stocked, and the home is suitable for children two to twelve and infants under two.



The kitchen handles a real family meal. Full size stove, oven, microwave, freezer, dishes, silverware, cookware, baking sheets, blender, coffee maker, toaster, and wine glasses. Plenty of counter space if more than one cook wants in. The setup works for a Thanksgiving in July just as well as it does for a casual reunion breakfast.



The home has two unique features we love. The She Cave gives the women a place to gather away from the main living room, and the Man Cave does the same for the guys. Bachelor parties, mother daughter trips, and big extended family stays all benefit from the split.



A BBQ grill and outdoor seating are set up on the patio for evenings outside. An indoor fireplace makes the living room cozy on cooler Panhandle nights. Single level layout means no stairs anywhere, which is a real help for grandparents and toddlers.



You also get a laptop friendly workspace, washer and dryer on site for longer stays, and a driveway for parking. The home is family and kid friendly through and through. We love hosting big groups here.



Guest Access:

You have the entire 4 bedroom home, including the She Cave, the Man Cave, and the patio. Self check in is from 3pm with a smart lock code sent ahead of arrival, and check out is by 11am. Driveway parking is included on site. The home is single level, so no stairs to navigate when you are hauling in luggage.



The Neighborhood:

South Monroe Street is a calm Amarillo residential block, the kind where neighbors wave and porch lights stay on. You are centrally located with easy access to I-40 for trips across town, and well positioned for the drive south to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Downtown Amarillo and the Civic Center are an easy run for events, and Westgate Mall is close for shopping. Families visiting West Texas A&M, the Don Harrington Discovery Center, the Amarillo Botanical Gardens, or the Big Texan Steak Ranch will find this house well placed for the whole list. Wonderland Park is a fun afternoon if you have kids in tow.



Getting Around:

Amarillo runs on cars. This home has driveway parking, and the central location means you are a short drive from anywhere in town. I-40 access is easy, and I-27 takes you south toward Canyon. Rental cars and rideshare both work well from Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport. Plan for a vehicle in the group.



Other Things to Note:

This is a non smoking home indoors. Outdoor smoking is permitted in designated areas, please use the ashtrays provided. No parties and no events. Only registered guests may stay overnight. The home is equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a first aid kit, and is family and kid friendly. The home is registered with the City of Amarillo where applicable.

We respect your privacy. We are a quick message away through the Airbnb or Vrbo app, or by text if that is easier. During the day we usually respond within the hour, and we are always happy to share local recommendations for restaurants, kid friendly stops, or the right route south to Palo Duro Canyon.
