Cozy up in Sunset Hollow, a lower-unit cabin halfway between Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon, just 1.5 miles off US-89 up a secluded dirt road. Sunset Hollow is all yoursâking bed, cot if you need it, bathroom, kitchen, desk, off grid hot tub and a single parking spot. The firepit offers valley views for your morning coffee or starlit musings. Drive carefully up the road to the cabin. During winter months, All-Wheel or 4-Wheel drive is required. Stock up on supplies before arrivingâwhile there are some general stores nearby, the best grocery stores are located further away!
Tucked beneath its hilltop sibling, Sunset Hollow is your cozy base for exploring Zion (45 mins) and Bryce Canyon (1 hr). Reached via a 1.5-mile dirt road off US-89, this lower-unit cabin delivers seclusion and valley views thatâll make you forget the climb. Most cars manage the road in good weather, but winter demands AWD or 4WD. Deer and wildlife roam nearby, so keep your camera ready! Inside, the cabin sleeps up to 3 with a comfy king bed and a cot stashed in the back closet (sharing space with a washer and dryerâmultitasking at its finest). The updated bathroom keeps things fresh, while the small but mighty kitchen has the basics for whipping up meals. A dining table for two is perfect for intimate dinners, and a dedicated work desk lets you tackle emails with a mountain view, powered by Starlinkâs high-speed Wi-Fi. Unwind with the smart TV. Be aware that there is a unit directly above you. You may hear footsteps. Additionally, due to the hilltop location, there is a water pump in the basement that may turn on while water is running. Please keep these things in mind while looking forward to and planning your stay.
Access: Most cars handle the road in good weather; AWD/4WD required in winter. Single parking spot for lower unit.
Noise: Upper unit guests may cause some noise. Earplugs optional, good vibes mandatory.
Connectivity: Starlink Wi-Fi and smart TV for streaming or working. The views might distract you from both.
Wildlife: Deer and critters are frequent guestsâsecure food unless youâre hosting a woodland buffet.
Safety: No cliffs, but the hilltop has steep slopes. Watch your step to avoid a bumpy tumble!
We manage the property remotely. However, we have resources nearby to help you if needed.
We are located in a secluded cabin community just East of Todd's Junction. You will love the clear mountain air and the gorgeous stars in our little neck of the woods.
Park near the lower door!
Other Things to Note:
Location: 1.5 miles up a steep dirt road, halfway between Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. Ideal for hikers, remote workers, and nature lovers.
While there are no cliffs or sheer drops, our hilltop perch has steep slopes that could make for a bumpy tumble. Please watch your step!
There are a total of 2 cameras on property that record both audio and video. 1 of these cameras is located near the rafters of the upper entrance and points to the porch, stairs, and road. The second camera is a doorbell camera located on the lower door.
We are located outside of Alton City and some wildlife should be expected. There are many deer on and around the property at dawn and dusk. Bobcats and Coyotes have also been spotted in the area so be sure to supervise small children and pets.
