It isn’t as much a “hotel” as a “nature lodge” - the two story units are near small ponds, farm animals, and hiking paths as neighbors rather than a Hilton-style single high rise. They had dogs, sheep, goats, frogs, ducks, and horses. The view from our unit was just stunning. Paradise regained. « Windsor Lodge Is a cosy hotel right next to the Ranikhet Golf course .The positives are large , well appointed rooms , excellent service , view of the Himalayas in winter . Rooms have air conditioning which is rare in Ranikhet and useful in the day in summer months . Ideal location for long walks and relaxing . The only negative is high food prices though I must add the food is really good »

« Excellent property with nice scenic views of Ram Ganga ,hills, trails and bridge. Delicious and safe food with comfortable deluxe rooms with gorgeous views of river and mountains. Prompt service and friendly staff. Only issue that has to be tackled is the menace of monkeys who terrified everyone and ruined the pleasure of sitting out in balcony to have tea or snacks. Management has to take some drastic steps to overcome this issue »
