I did try to light a fire , but found the lighters were unusable and there were only two matches. As she informed us ahead of time, the road up was very challenging. Maybe a few more directional signs would help. The views were spectacular, and the surrounding areas were as well. Besides the lack of lighters, we had everything we could need. « We had an amazing weekend getaway at this beautiful yurt in a perfect location. The host was very welcoming and responded immediately to all messages. The yurt itself couldn’t be any nicer or cozier with beautiful decoration and very comfortable furniture. It was less than a 10 min drive into downtown Bryson City where all of the shops and restaurants are and about a 10-15 min to Cherokee. It was the perfect spot for a chill, relaxing weekend. We are already planning a spring trip to visit again...

« The host is very accommodating and responds quickly to questions. The townhouse is located within walking distance to the railroad and downtown, so it's perfect for the Polar Express. It was clean and comfortable, and had everything you could need EXCEPT reliable internet. The internet is very, very slow.
