Set on a working, family-run farm in the Lincolnshire countryside, this delightful wood-clad pod offers a peaceful base for couples planning days of outdoor adventures together. Set just 3 miles from the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape and 8.5 miles from the coast, guests here are perfectly positioned for outdoor pursuits. Head to the nearby market town of Alford (3.5 miles) for a generous choice of independent shops, and places to eat and drink. For days by the sea, the dog-friendly sands of Huttoft Beach (8.5 miles) offer a good option, as do the coast path trails around Anderby Creek (10 miles). For a slice of local history, discover Theddlethorpe Beach (10 miles) where the famous ‘Tank on the Beach’ sits. Golf enthusiasts and keen anglers will be happy to hear that Woodthorpe Golf Club and a well-stocked fishing lake await within 2 miles.
Before entering this unique glamping retreat, take a moment to appreciate its peaceful position surrounded by greenery and the sounds of nature. Head inside and uncover a curved, open-plan living space with natural light pouring through the glass doors and skylights. Underfloor heating greets you after days spent out in the elements, as does the inviting sofa positioned across from a TV perfect for cosy movie nights. A compact but well-appointed kitchenette sets you up for a self-catered stay – enjoy the chef’s work at the sweet dining nook for two. At the end of each busy day away, retire to the restful double bed, and start the next morning with a freshen up in the en-suite shower room.
Outside awaits a private, south-facing decking area with cosy chairs and a coffee table, perfect for morning coffees or evening tipples together, whilst listening to the sounds of nature. Guests are welcome to pick fruit from the farm’s trees during the season, and will also benefit from private parking for one car.
