« Cottage is just as described . I had a very comfortable stay at the cottage . Very quiet cute neighborhood. Relaxed at the home and did some trail hiking close by. Checked out local shops in town and bars for music . I was here when ice was still on the lakes but this would be a great summer place to stay for the lake activities I’m sure . I would recommend to reserve for the full weekend stay including all day Sunday so you are not in a rush to leave early Sunday checkout . Enjoyed my stay...

« I can’t begin to express how many “wow’s” came out of our mouth as we explored the house. So clean and cozy. It was a perfect place to spend our anniversary. We really enjoyed checking out Alexandria and coming back tired, we hung out near the fireplace and watched tv. The view of the lake was gorgeous. We would definitely come back during the summer time to enjoy the lake. Ultimately a very relaxing weekend and would recommend to anyone interested in the highest quality of getaways! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ »

« We had two families stay here with adults and kids age 15 months to 10 years old. This was perfect for all of our needs with ample bunk beds and space. The kids loved the outside space and had plenty of room to play inside when it rained. We had a boat and this is on a cul-de-sac so we could easily turn around! I would highly recommend staying here! The kitchen is well stocked and the washer/dryer was so helpful with wet swim suits and towels. »

« Our stay at Darling Lakeview was perfect ! The house was exceptionally clean and our host provided everything we needed . We had a weekend of delicious food , wine and even dessert. « We enjoyed our stay in this property very much. We loved the location, which is very close to Alexandria and to a wonderful nature trail. The house is right on the lake, so the views were amazing from all three decks! We did notify the owners that the two twin beds on the top floor needed new mattresses, so hopefully that will be addressed. Otherwise, everything was great! »
