Great Pocono Getaway

We had an awesome stay at the Blue Owl. The house and property were everything we were hoping for in a summer vacation home.So much to do in the immediate area that we actually have to come back to get in some of the things we still need to do.

10 Day Poconos Adventure

I visited the Poconos with my wife, our two children (8 and 4 y.o), my father, and MIL/FIL. The house was a perfect base for all our adventures. Check in and getting passes at the entry gate was very easy. The house was clean, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated to give you that country cabin feel. Downstairs has sofa/TV, extra fridge, pool table, foosball, arcade and laundry/drier. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals including many herbs and spices. The deck is large and well maintained and a great place for your morning coffee, evening drink, or outdoor meal. Yard is large with play set, trampoline, footballs, frisbees to keep everyone entertained. The fire pit is a nice bonus. Some of the highlights from our trip include trout fishing, Crayola Experience /Easton visit, several hikes, kayaking, cycling the Lehigh River Gorge trail, tennis on the community courts, and visits to the pool and lakes on the IML property.

Great house!

House was exactly as listed. Everything was very clean. Decor was wonderful. Full game room in the basement, including an arcade machine that my 10 year old could not get enough of. Wonderful, large back deck. Would definitely stay again!

We loved this home so much!!!!! Our only complaint would be the pictures showed a hammock n there was none and we had to purchase toilet paper dish soap trash bags....but the host instantly responded and offered to send money .... But had a blast! Loved the deer and enjoyed ourselves so much!!! Thank u

Great Stay

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very nice and cleaned. It has a cabin feel to it which is perfect for near the lake. The deck is very nice, we loved hanging out there and we loved the fire pit as well. Our family’s favorite part of the was the game room, we spent a lot of time hanging out in that room. The house is close to a lot of the popular Pocono attractions. The owners put together a book that has locations to everywhere you may need while staying there. It has a list of the closest stores and attractions with QR codes to scan that bring up the address of each. I really only needed to contact the owner once during our stay, but he was very quick to respond. The only negative, which is not a big deal, but something to mention was getting registered in the community and getting in. We check in on a Friday night and it seemed like the time everyone else was arriving as well. It took almost half an hour to get through the gate, which was a little frustrating after being in the car for a long drive. But that in no way is something the owner can control and again not a deal breaker just something to be prepared for. A process improvement opportunity for the community itself, but definitely worth the stay once that’s out of the way.

Pocono get away

This home is wonderfully decorated with real cabin feeling! Wonderful deck! Fun arcade basement! Loved the wildlife of deer and turkey visiting every day! Location perfect for easy drives to so many things like Baseball, parks, golf, train rides, water parks! The only complaint was the abundance of carpenter ants throughout.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location

We loved our stay at the Blue Owl Lodge! The house was beautiful, well equipped and perfect for families with kids. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. The lodge is in a gated community, has great amenities. Our favorite part was relaxing at the lodge and being visited by the friendly deer! We hope to be able to stay at the lodge again in the future! Definitely recommend!

Long Weekend with Friends

We had a very nice weekend at Blue Owl Lodge. The kids very much enjoyed the game room and the parents enjoyed sitting by the fire. My only suggestion would be more lamps in the living room or dimmers on the overhead lighting. Overall a great cabin!

Great Labor Day Escape!

Had an excellent time at the house, everyone was commenting on how beautiful it was. Firepit was far enough away from the house and surrounded by trees, which gave it the private feel we were looking for! Eric was very responsive whenever we had a question, and the house was very clean. Also worth noting are the bathrooms in the house! Very modern amenities and beautifully decorated, the ladies who came with us all commented on how nice they were. Would definitely stay again!

Great getaway and escape from city life

We had great time at this beautiful and cozy wooden lodge, created some of the sweetest memories with kids. In the late mornings loved seeing them jump on the trampoline, hear them scream and laugh, while sitting on a cosy spacious deck and sipping on hot tea (compliments from the owner's kitchen). Early in the afternoon loved going to the community pool and then later in the day to the beautiful lake with swimming area and then conclude our day by going down to the basement play arcade, pool, games and then roast marshmallows in the fireplace. Thanks to the owner for always responding within minutes/seconds. Thanks for sharing this property with us!!

Beautiful property

We had an amazing time at this location. Between two pools, lakes, hiking trails and hitting the water parks, it’s save to say that the kids had an amazing time! Kids loved staying in the basement while the adults stayed upstairs. Phenomenal property. Eric was very attentive and responsive during our stay.

Family Mini Vacation

I stayed there with my husband, son,, parents, sister and niece and there was plenty of room. I had to reach out to Eric a couple of times for minor stuff and he was very responsive. The cabin was clean, comfy and very cozy. It had a great game room in the basement and I loved playing the arcade games.

Perfect Weekend

This home was absolutely amazing. Just the right size for 4 adults. The beds were comfortable which is rare at most rentals, the house was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. The knives were even sharp! The game room is great, the guys shot pool all weekend. Overall a very comfortable home. It was easy to relax and unwind. Highly recommend this home.

Weekend getaway

We stayed for a long weekend in January. Lucky enough to get snow and son was able to play in the large back yard. The house had a nice game room to play games at night. Always great to disconnect and not be on screens, and this house was great for that!
