« We stayed here for the weekend while attending a friend’s wedding, and it was a fantastic experience. The place was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly well-equipped with everything you could think of from board games and a Wii to Netflix. The open kitchen was lovely, and the space had tons of natural light, which made it feel even more welcoming. I would absolutely love to stay here again in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone. »

« Love the feel of this cute little home in a great location. Communication with the host and check in was very easy. The house was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. The neighbourhood was very quiet and close to walking trails by the river. We walked to local cafes for our morning coffee. Overall great stay! »

« The home is smaller that it appears in the VRBO listing. The bathrooms seemed clean, but the rest of home was not very clean. There was dust in the corners, spider webs and ants at the back entrance. The home has been well used since the VRBO photos were taken, and it could use some painting and TLC. The yard was weedy and has not been cleaned up since last fall. »

The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, and the host was easy to contact and kindly allowed us an earlier check-in, which we really appreciated. « The cottage served our large 3-generational family group very well for our Christmas vacation. Upstairs, the bunk bed room and the two beautiful master suites (each with their own bathrooms) was ideal for multi-family use, providing ample space & privacy. « We had a perfect stay in lake Sylvan. Perfect location for days at the beach. The house also offered a board game cabinet and puzzles which the kids enjoyed a lot in quiet times. Condiments in the fridge and shared cupboard eased our cooking. »

« He photos are misleading - one feels they are renting a beautiful retreat. It isn’t. The cottage is run down, with a large burn on the dining room table, holes in the sitting room ottoman, and a worn out couch that we all found incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of comfortable seating was the worst part of the stay - either one sits on the worn out couch, or the hard dining room table chairs. « We paid in full in March and arrived the day of check in to find out it was double booked. The owner we talked to said that he didn’t know anything about our booking. So not sure if this falls on Expedia or the property, but messed our vacation right up. We were planning to do Drumheller the next day before continuing south.
