« L'emplacement est top et la communication avec l'hôte est facile. Cependant il n'est pas précisé dans l'annonce que la péniche est amarrée avec une autre péniche, les fenêtres donnent sur l'intérieur de l'autre péniche. Il n'y a de l'eau chaude que pour deux petites douches. Le supplément payé pour une 5ème personne est très élevé compte tenu du fait qu'il ne pourra pas se doucher. L'électricité ne fonctionne pas bien et toutes les nuits nous avons été réveillés par les BIP du générateur que...

« Worked very well for my sister and her family and dogs. The boat stayed beautifully warm thank goodness, as it was a cold few days over Christmas. All the instructions on using bath, shower, heating etc were very clear. The location was great - very easy to get around. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again. »

Staying on the water is a world apart from any hotel experience, The rustic charms and quirks of narrowboat living and the sense of community with other boat dwellers made it special. « I’ve stayed in various places in London over thirty years but never on a houseboat. The location is lovely, quiet, and interesting. The houseboat itself is roomy and beautifully decorated from any vantage point. The beds were comfy and the rooms charming. The houseboat is conveniently located near the DLR station, a market, and a notable pub and has a great neighborhood feel. James’s hospitality and helpfulness were exactly what we needed.
