« We enjoyed our stay at the stables, traveling as a group of 6… 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 kids. The space was bigger than it looked online and the property was a peaceful retreat after exploring the city. We didn’t realize that there was a washing machine but no dryer, but there were drying racks provided both inside and outside, and we managed just fine. « Beautiful cottage both inside and in its location. Outside of the town centre, it was still close enough to walk to the local Co-op for supplies and into the town for access to the River Leven & Loch Lomond and the train station. I loved sitting outside next to the burn with a cup of tea in a morning, listening to the soothing sounds of the water and birdsong. Fiona, the host, was wonderfully welcoming and it was an idyllic home for our few days in Balloch. »
