Hi there! My husband, Damond and I built our forever home on one acre in the lovely town of Crozet! We met while attending the University of Virginia and we got married and lived in Charlottesville after graduating. We love Charlottesville but just needed more space for our kids to run so we built our home in Crozet. We spend a lot of time in the nearby area of Afton along Route 151 going on hikes, visiting the local breweries and vineyards - all the things we recommend to our guests to do! We not only own the spaces that we rent out to our amazing guests but we spend time in those spaces as a family. I am a Realtor at Nest Realty and being a super host has been an avenue of real estate that I enjoy. We built and remodeled our properties and take a lot of pride in them to attract our guests to our little slice of heaven in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The area is rural with homes spaced out on 2-10 acres. Most homes are lived in by the owners so please be respectful of noise as they live here full time. Veritas Vineyard is 200 meters down the road and Afton Mountain Vineyard is about 1 mile away. They are located among residential homes all on larger parcels of land. The neighbors behind us own cattle that sometimes graze along the wire fence in the back yard.

There is a very large U shaped driveway with plenty of off street parking for every guest if they drive themselves. It can easily accommodate very large vehicles with no issues.

The Branch has all one level living for bedroom and living space access. The main level of the house has a primary bedroom (Queen) with attached ensuite (full bathroom). The closet has been remodeled into a "getting ready" space in the bathroom. There is a 2nd full bathroom off the hallway with two additional bedrooms. Bedroom 2 (Queen) and Bedroom 3 (Queen and Twin). There are several outdoor retreats from the covered front porch that faces East to watch the sunrise, the rear covered porch facing west to watch the sunset while grilling dinner. The screened porch is right off of the kitchen and has a wood burning fireplace in it. Downstairs, the basement we like to call the TEEN/TODDLER hangout! Completed with a large sectional sofa, 2nd TV, air hockey table, game table and chess/checkers table. There's also a corner of the basement with soft flooring and dress-up / toys for the kids to enjoy. A full size Washer/Dryer and 2nd refrigerator are also in the basement.

There is a large U Shaped driveway that can accommodate vehicles if every guest were to drive as well as a large tour bus if you decide to hire vehicle transportation during your stay. If you are touring vineyards and breweries, many guests will contact local transportation companies that specialize in these tours and pickup/drop off from The Branch.
