Nice apartment with great rooftop terrace and all necessary comfort

Good location, 10 mins walk from the beach (on a hill, so less convenient for less mobile people). The apartment has a great rooftop terrace for sunbathing. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood with restaurant nearby within a 20 min walking radius. Only negative I would say is the bath that only worked as a shower (missing piece). Would certainly highly recommend.

Short break

We stayed here for a week in October. Check in was easy, met at property by host and briefly shown around. All nice and clean. Very quiet most of the time, in a residential area. There is a shared pool, but you have it to yourself most of the time. Roof terrace is a great feature. It was extremely hot whilst we were there in October, and the property doesn’t have air con, so just be aware of that ( we knew on the booking). Also, be aware that there isn’t really anything nearby , shops/bars etc. this suited us, and we are happy to walk. Overall, property is good value and a nice base if you want a quiet, low key week in sunny Tenerife.

Two weeks of pure relaxation

The property was clean and fairly well equipped, possibly could do with a couple of baking trays for the oven, enough crockery to make it worth using a dishwasher and the bathroom door hinges need some attention. The fans provided compensated for the lack of air-con but then thats a choice between fresh or stale air in my opinion, might attract more people with? Apart from that we cannot fault it and would recommend it, nice and quiet, away from the usual noise sources!

Nice apartment in good area

This is a nice, clean apartment in a quiet, residential location. Although it says sleeps 4, which it does, its a bit on the small side for 2 adults and 2 children. Its better suited to 2 people. We would stay again if there were just 2 of us. The area is very quiet, not many tourists on the complex. No umbrellas round the pool so we couldn't stay there more than a couple of hours. Also worth mentioning there is no air con, but they did provide 2 large fans. There is also a steep hill to climb back up to the apartment, so not good for anyone with health/mobility issues. Roof terrace is a great space and the sea view from the balcony was lovely. I think some of the doors need sanding down on the bottom as some are very difficult to open and close. It would also be good to have a safe.

Fabulous stay

We have stayed here many times and we are never disappointed. The apartment is lovely and the roof terrace makes it for us. The spiral staircase is easy to get up and down. There are two sun loungers a big brolly and table and chairs. A great place to have breakfast!!! The pool is lovely too with sun beds available around it. It is very clean. Having a dishwasher and washing machine is super. It is in a very quiet area but a 10/15 minute walk down the hill gets you to the beach, a Spar and further along there are a choice of some really nice restaurants. You can walk into La Caleta right along the front and there are a number of lovely restaurants there too. It’s a great apartment for two people.

Fantastic roof terrace

We stayed here for a week in early December 2022, and it was a great base for our first visit to Tenerife. The apartment was spotless and well equipped, and we loved the views from the roof terrace and balcony. The complex has a large and attractive pool area, as well as a children’s paddling pool. Both of these were rarely used during our visit, so it felt like our private pool! Parking was very easy outside the apartment, and the wifi signal was strong. Because it is a very quiet and mostly residential area on top of a hill at the edge of Costa Adeje, there are few restaurants nearby. However, we enjoyed the pizza and atmosphere at All’Italiana (Avenida Virgen de Guadalupe). There are two small supermarkets near there. The restaurants near Playa del Duque tend to be more expensive. There are many cheaper restaurants and bars near FañabĂ© beach, which are approximately 25 minutes walk downhill, and 30 minutes back up the steep hills. Playa del Duque (12-15 minutes walk downhill) has two beaches: north has black sand and south has golden sand. Both were good for swimming. The only suggestions for improvement are an information pack for visitors (eg maps, restaurant suggestions, emergency contact details), a couple of international TV channels, and a knife for cutting bread.

Fabulous stay

We had another fabulous stay at Casa Berta. The apartment was very clean and had everything that we expected. Joaquin was there to meet us at check in when we arrived. The roof terrace is just brilliant. We will hopefully be returning next year. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous Roof Terrace

We had a fantastic stay at this property and would definitely book again when coming back to Tenerife. The roof terrace is amazing albeit the spiral stairs leading up to it are not for the faint-hearted! It lost one star as we felt the kitchen could have been equipped slightly better eg more cutlery provided to save constantly washing it given there's a dishwasher available. We were delayed at the airport on our way out to Tenerife but communication was good with Montse (owner's wife) who met us at the property and showed us around. This was our first holiday since 2019 so we were delighted with how clean everything was in the property which is paramount in the present Covid environment.

FĂŒr 2 Personen schon eine große Ferienwohnung! Die Dachterrasse und der Gemeinschaftspool sind klasse zum entspannen und die Anlage ist ruhig. Die KĂŒche ist ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht und SupermĂ€rkte findet man in der NĂ€he. Das Bad ist sauber und schön. WLAN funktioniert gut, bei warmem Wetter kann man prima mit offenem Fenster schlafen sodass man nicht schwitzt, MĂŒcken gibt es keine. Die MĂŒlltonne ist schnell und einfach erreichbar und auch Dosen, Flaschen, Papier kann man in der NĂ€he wegschmeißen. Spaziergang zum Strand dauert 10 Minuten und man hat dabei eine tolle Aussicht an der KĂŒste entlang und auch auf La Gomera.

Lovely stay.

Had a lovely stay at the property. It’s in an ideal spot if you like peace and quiet, however it’s only a short walk to the Del Duque beach area, bars and restaurants. Ideal location

The apartment was excellent and exactly as pictured and described on the property details. The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The location was in a lovely quiet residential area about 20 minutes walk from Playa Fañabe.

Lovely week in a great apartment

This apartment has everything you need for a relaxing break in the sun. The owner allowed us an early check in because we were on an early flight and met us with the keys. We walked to and from the bars and restaurants along the front every day but it is quite a slog back up, burned off some extra calories. The sun terrace is huge with plenty of outdoor furniture, for which the owners provided cushions which aren’t shown on the pictures. The apartment is located in a quiet area 12 - 15 minutes stroll to playa del duque which was perfect for us. Thank you Joaquin and Montse for a lovely holiday.

Great find

Great stay. Meet and greet at the apartment was good with the owner . Apartment spotless . Roof terrace was fabulous , very private with views of the sea .Odd raised platform round the bed which served no purpose and got in the way especially during the night . Overall nice apartment with great roof terrace ,good location on a small beautifully kept complex and we would definitely stay again

Fantastic Apartment , great location!

We just spent a fantastic 10 days at Casa Berta! Communication with Joaquin was great before arriving - very quick to respond to any queries. Apartment is perfect for couples or a small family - very clean, with TV, WI-fi., etc. The best feature for us was the rooftop terrace without a doubt. A great feature of the property where we spent a huge amount of time sunbathing and eating meals in a private space! The complex itself also had a great feeling of exclusivity and was very quiet at all times - we very rarely saw anyone at the pool and could use without any hassle. The apartment is ideally located and just a short walk from the beach, restaurants and commercial areas, although be prepared for the hill climbs when returning with any shopping! We would highly recommend this property to anyone who likes to do their own thing.

Lovely weeks break

It was great to see the apartment in real life having been looking at it for so long. It is exactly like the pictures. Things that haven't been commented on before that are worth mentioning is, lots of mirrors (being a female, full length mirrors are important and so are mirrors near where you can plug in the hairdryer/straightners etc) On the topic of sockets - there were plenty to plug in all your electrical devices!! Lots of storage too, wardrobe/drawers and even a wall mounted shoe cabinet. The roof area is amazing, we spent most of our time there. Hubby was in his element with the bbq. We did find it difficult to get meat and even coals for the BBQ but there was a larger supermarket Centro Comercial & Ocio Gran Sur, Calle Lisboa, 2, 38660 Costa Adeje. It was on the opposite side of the main road and further towards Costa Adeje. It had everything and was better value than the other local shops. All in all it was a great holiday, great apartment!!
