« Petit cottage magnifique, déco sublime et cosy. Un petit coin de paradis. »

« Waking up with a view over the sea with its noise is priceless, even more when the owner is more than lovely like Sue!! Thanks again for everything you made our stay extra special ! Special note for Welma the cleaning lady who was adorable 🥰 »

« This home was a wonderful experience. Set out in the country, it is a really quiet location and was so peaceful. Its close proximity to Ballater provided plenty of selections for food and shopping. It is also right in the middle of the mountains and there are many great hiking options around. The home is well equipped for cooking and relaxing. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet country feel. »

« The house is gorgeous and was just the perfect home away from home. When we arrived there was a lot of black dog hair everywhere including in the bed. This didn’t bother us too much as we have dogs ourselves golden retrievers and we just cleaned it up. We did have a problem with the WiFi not working however Allan dealt with this immediately and had an engineer out on Monday and fixed which was fantastic. Overall though we have a fantastic stay with the added bonus of our lovely cow(actual cows)...

« A very comfortable cottage, very close to nice places to discover (Dee riverside, Ballater, Loch Muick, etc.). Very quiet too, and a beautiful view on the mountains. Suggestion: the description of the cottage could be better with a photo and few words about the bathrooms. »

« Comfortable, clean and cosy lodgings on a pretty estate surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Great walks nearby and good food in the village. Would recommend. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Annex.Mo and Alistair were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped a home from home. The welcome pack was amazing with fresh eggs from the hens and the best Victoria sponge we have ever tasted plus a few other goodies. The cottage was lovely with sea views at one side and countryside on the other. The night skyscapes were amazing and we saw the Northern Lights (the Aurora). We would thoroughly recommend...

« House very comfortable excellent location »

« Access track was in a poor state - would not have wanted to use in the winter. Beds were rather uncomfortable. »

« Very nice lodge, clean & comfortable. Great location in lovely surroundings. Nice walk to the loch straight from the door. Nice hot shower . Comfortable bed . The only way it would improve is a better sofa & chairs which were not the best to lounge about in but it certainly wouldn't put me off booking again ( just a slight niggle!). Overall a nice week. »

« What an unbelievable stay. Beautiful property in a wtunning location. Claire was really helpful and we had the best time »
