« Lovely, spacious and clean property right on the sea front. Picture windows in the lounge were perfect for watching the ever changing sea scape. Lovely towns and villages nearby for sightseeing. Local pub great and fish and chips from the chip shop/restaurant very tasty. »

« Very inviting inside and out. Our hostess, Sheila, provided a beautifully decorated apartment attatched to her home. It was a cozy place to recuperate from our visit to Dunnotter Castle. An excellent restaurant, Cammie's, is within walking distance. »

« My wife will never become involved in trip organization but is exceedingly quick to criticize!!! Initially, there were some murmurings as we ventured further from Alford but she rather sheepishly admitted that the quality was excellent which made my stay more enjoyable as well! The kitchen and all the rooms were very well appointed as part of a stone built barn conversion. So quiet and properly dark at night - the stars were fantastic. « We wanted self catering accommodation that was not isolated that we can just chill out if we want to and this fits the bill. It is an easy walk into Ballater for shops restaurants etc. very central to explore the local area and there are some great walks. The accommodation is clean and well presented and has everything you need and the owners were helpful and friendly but left you in peace. I would certainly stay again if in the area. »

« Leuk en comfortabel huisje, op de begane grond, met uitzicht op de haven. Een aantal restaurants vlakbij en bij The old pier, drie deuren verderop, lekker ijs en goede koffie. Huisje is goed ingericht met alles wat je nodig hebt in de keuken, fijne badkamer en heerlijke regendouche. Leuk ook om in de brede vensterbank te zitten en te kijken naar wat er gebeurt rond de haven. De bovenbuurman is weinig thuis, dus die hoor je meestal niet. Zelf vond ik het jammer dat er zoveel auto's langs kwamen,...
