« Main standout quality of this hotel is it’s location. Beautiful views of The Mournes and very well maintained gardens. Also ample car parking space. If you want a quiet place to escape then this is it. Very attentive staff and excellent food. We did get the impression that one of the male staff was overworked- it seemed that he was absolutely doing everything, but must stress that he was an excellent ‘people person’ and that nothing was a bother to him. « We stayed in Cottage A as a family of 6. It is a very beautiful cottage and it was set up with a beautiful Christmas tree. The host was very friendly and helpful, and had the fire in the living room set up burning already, and the hot tun already set up ready to go. « Had a lovely stay in apartment 2 for 3 nights with 2 of my sons. Absolutely beautiful accommodation - spotlessly clean and has a boutique feel about it. « The cottage is warm, comfortable and has a view of Killeavy castle. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. They had essentials waiting for us in the kitchen (tea,milk,bread,etc.) which were very much appreciated. Definitely need a car if you plan on staying here. Road noise may be an issue if you’re a light sleeper plus be very careful coming out of the driveway. The locals drive fast on this road. »

« The property owners really care about the property and have remodeled it adding special creative touches throughout. The patio in the back is wonderful and quiet, comfy bed, great view. Full kitchen, clothes washer (no dryer though, be aware). We would definitely stay here again! »

Gareth was very attentive and helpful and offered a lovely breakfast, and the place is absolutely pristinely clean. Great jump off point to the Mourne mountains.
