« The property was all newly renovated and modern and clean. We did find that the shower was a bit backwards (the hot water came out of the cold setting and visa versa). Also the shower door was missing an important stop so the glass hits the screw instead of the stop to prevent the door from breaking (we had this experience at another hotel and the glass completely shattered). We mentioned the problem with the shower door to one of the housekeepers but he was not interested. We suggest this...

« Beautiful location! Sorta close to grocery & gas. Resort may have food store. Didn’t check. Looks fantastic inside. Paneling design great. Plenty of room for family or separate space. Great front porch. Great covered deck with table in back. »

« This was the third year that we stayed at the cabin.We have consistently been happy.The only disappointment was, the first several days of the week were very warm, I would have liked to been able to turn on the fan on the first floor living space to lower the temperature in the upper bedrooms ( the remote to control the fan is missing)Besides this, which was Not really a big issue, everything else was close to perfect.Thanks for any enjoyable stay! »

« Loved the cabin! My only complaint was that the upstairs bed got hot during the night making my daughter uncomfortable. We put the fan up there the second night but it didn’t seem to help. She slept on the loveseat. Everything else we loved! »

« This property was just as pictured. Very spacious and clean. People who have any issues with steps should caution. There are steps to enter rither by the front or back door. Also the 3rd bedroom and the second bathroom are downstairs. There was also a great deal of noise down in that bedroom, from either the air conditioner and or the plumbing. The person that slept down there said they heard every time the toilet flushed upstairs during the night; and they could hear some sort of...

« Perfect for our Rest and Relax vacation. Very quiet area with lost of wild life present. The Mountains are Happy Place and Deer Ridge didn't disappoint. Hope to say again next year. »

« The place is cute and quaint, but pretty spartan. We didn’t need many frills, our children loved the place and we had many cozy meals and plenty of family time. The neighborhood is close to the mountains, state park, and town. »

« Four of us stayed at Almost Heaven for a weekend away. House was perfect for our needs. We ventured to Terra Alta to visit High Ground Brewery (definitely recommend). Will definitely consider returning for future weekends. Only suggestion? Listing where we could get fire wood. We asked three different stores (after each recommended the other) to no avail. No fire for us. »

« What a beautiful location! The house is just as described. Plenty of room for a wonderful weekend away with my cousins and sister! The lake was the perfect location for a hike and a swim! Absolutely gorgeous views with plenty to do! We will definitely be back! Only issue was a breaker was tripped to the bedrooms downstairs.
